A pointless death. My son used to be crazy about these kids.

Sounds like the last few years of his life had been pretty difficult with that awful skin-deterioration thing from the spider bite. The whole thing is very sad.

But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.

Agree. 49 is still too young.

I was assuming alcohol but now they said the spider bite might have contributed to his death. Wow.

Loved the article on this link's page - there was a "moment of noise" for Hanneman at Revolver's Golden Gods awards on Thursday. What a great tribute.

    Re: Rest In Peace.

    RIP, George.

Like bee, one of my all-time favorite country songs was "He Stopped Loving Her Today".

No disrespect at all intended, but I thought about a funny story Tammy Wynette told about Jones from the time they were married, in her biography.

Lemme put it this way, at the time, Jones wasn't exactly a stranger to havin' him a 'lil nip or two.

Well, a fed-up Tammy, bless her heart, thought she'd trumped him one day when she hid/took away the keys to every vehicle they owned, and hid 'em.

Which was OK, until she looked around for, and couldn't find him.

Then, she decided to look outside.

Lo and behold, the sight that greeted her was a pleasantly pumped-up Jones, happily riding down their lane . . .

    On the freakin' GOLF CART!!!

    LOL!

Like it or not, Tammy had to SHH and laugh!

    So much for trumping George!

    LOLOLOLOL!
