I was sorry to hear about Ed Koch. He was a good mayor and one of the few trustworthy politicians. I liked him quite a lot.

I liked that he was a "tell it like it is" person....he called them as he saw them.....And he seemed to LOVE his job as mayor! I had a lot of respect for him.

I just found out that Mo-Do, an Italian techno musician, died yesterday at 46 from apparent suicide. I happened to know one of his songs.

Even though the band was known for Wild Thing, I always liked this lesser known song they did....

It's only going to get worse.
The heyday of Rock & Roll, late 50's thru 70's, means that the musicians are senior citizens now.
It makes me feel old too. But I'm not going anywhere for a long time!!! I refuse.

Add another singer to the list of too-soon-departed. I don't follow country music that closely, so I couldn't connect the name to any songs I might have heard. Googled it and came up with only one: Guys Do It All The Time.

Can't say that I'm familiar with her either but I knew her name as I had seen headlines about her heading to rehab. So, so sad. Evidently her boyfriend died in January. His death was originally ruled suicide but is now being reinvestigated from what I read. Mindy had two small children.
