Jack Klugman and Charles Durning -- two icons.

It always seems like famous people die three at a time. Afraid to turn on the news to see who's next.

I loved Jack Klugman. At least now Oscar is reunited with Felix. One by one my childhood icons are leaving us

Not quite a "celebrity", but the name is well known to anyone who remembers the FIRST Gulf War

According to our local ABC new affiliate, Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf has died in Tampa, Florida at the age of 78.

My husband was in the Navy during those years, serving aboard the USS Blue Ridge in the Persian Gulf. He met and worked with the men under Schwarzkopf's command. He respected the man and was impressed by him. Said you never wanted the man to have to ask you for something twice!

NBC put together a very nicely done piece on all of those we lost this year.
