How sad about Deborah Raffin. I so remember her as a young ingenue and, later on, as head of Avon Books on Tape with her husband. Way too young to die.

Larry Hagman - WOW - Hard to believe no more JR.

So sad about Larry hagman. I was so enjoying seeing Jr Ewing again.

Larry Hagman is gone at age 81, and will always be remember for two iconic characters, J.R. Ewing and Tony Nelson as well as his performance in Fail Safe. I loved him and his equally talented mother, Mary Martin.

I am so sad. Another icon gone. They said that Patrick Duffy & Linda Gray were at his bedside when he died. I was so happy he was being introduced to a whole new generation. He will be missed - Dallas can't be the same without him

I didnt realize he was still so sick! He seemed to be recovered from cancer--or was he such a good actor making all of us think he was healthy! I'm glad he got to reprise his JR role on the latest version of Dallas. He died with his stetson on, so to speak. I'll really miss him.

I heard about him this morning. There have been more evil villans since J.R., but never one to equal him in charisma, humor and just plain nastiness. He will be missed.

    Re: Rest In Peace.

I agree...knew he'd been sick over the years, but had seen an interview with him just a couple of months ago, with him talking about season two of Dallas and how he was so excited about it and he said he was feeling great and had a lot of years left in him. Made me happy to hear him say that.

There will never be another TV villain like him his portrayal of JR Ewing.

I messaged my cousin down in the Dominican Republic when I heard the news... he LOVED Larry Hagman!

For me he will always be Major Nelson.... I did watch Dallas but had a hard time with him as the evil JR when he was such a doll as "Master".... though I admit he was slimey good on Dallas! He will be missed.
