Aw, Andy Williams I remember watching his show when I was little. When I was maybe 3 or 4 and first learning to read, my mom would have me pick pictures out of magazines to paste into my "book" and then she would caption the pictures. It was just a way to keep me busy and creative AND help me learn my letters. The first page of my book was a picture of Andy Williams and "his" bear.

    Andy Williams.

    Wow.

Yes, I grew up with him. I remember seeing the Osmonds on his show lots, watching his Christmas specials, and seeing his brothers (there were three of them; they were billed as The Williams Brothers) sing on his show with him as a quartet.

Ironically enough, over the past week, I've been loading his music onto my iPod.

    The first song I loaded?

    Moon River.

    RIP, Andy.

Just this Summer I rented Breakfast at Tiffanys.
The first thing I thought of when I read about Andy Williams' passing was of him singing Moon River.

I also remember those Christmas Specials.

It was Andy Williams who first introduced us to the Osmond Brothers and Marie when she was big enough. Here's a link to them on You Tube.

    YEAH , he did!

    VERY silky, soothing and rich!

I'm still downloading his stuff onto my iPod.

Andy, Johnny Mathis, Perry Como and Nat King Cole were/are some of my favorites.

They SURE don't make music like that anymore.
