That sounds pretty bad--the best hope is to prolong your life, there's no cure.

From what I've read, leukemia from this disorder is one people will likely not survive. The trick seems to be to try to avoid the condition from developing into leukemia. Hopefully, Robin's bone marrow transplant will work well.

Andy Griffith was truly a huge part of TV History. RIP Andy, say hey to Barney & Aunt Bea.

    Wow.

    Don Grady, now Andy Griffith.

I grew up watching and loving both of them through their TV shows.

I remember so well, on My Three Sons, how great their family was, and especially, I remember when Robbie married Katie, and they had TRIPLETS, which was a hoot to watch them adjust to!

And Andy Griffith? Yep, I grew up watching The Andy Griffith Show, AND I was hooked on Matlock, too. And No Time for Sergeants (with Don Knotts) is one of my all-time favorite comedy movies.

    Both of them were fantastic.

    RIP, Don and Andy.

Aw, I was so sad to hear about Andy Griffith. I also grew up watching his show...he seemed like such a good guy. RIP, Andy.

Wow, his funeral and burial are already over. Have to admit that I do like the quickness. The ceremonies happened this morning.

Andy Griffith also did an excellent dramatic job in A Face in the Crowd. If you haven't seen it and think it would be impossible to despise any character he played, I would recommend it. Also in the cast were Patricia Neal, Walter Matthau, Anthony Franciosa, and Lee Remick.
