Wow! I watch I Love Lucy every morning. She has to have been one of the few remaining actors still living.

When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
While reading about Don Grady's (Robbie Douglas on My Three Sons) passing, it mentioned that he was predeceased by his sister Lani O'Grady. I had no idea that Lani, who played the oldest daughter Mary on Eight Is Enough, was his younger sister. I remember her passing at a fairly young age.
I remember when Lani died. She was a longtime addict who just never could get out from under her addiction.![]()
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' - Isaac Asimov

Lani passed right before she was 47.
Sadly, she had a history of anxiety / panic attacks which served to fuel her addictions.
I had a major crush on Robbie / Don Grady when I was growing up.
RIP.

I read that Nora Ephron died of complications of myelodysplasia, which is the same syndrome recently diagnosed for Robin Roberts of GMA. Robin is currently preparing for a bone marrow transfusion. For those not aware of the syndrome, here is a website.
