66 is awfully young to die of a heart attack unless he had a history of heart problems. For that matter 66 is awfully young to have a history of heart problems.
It's so sad to see those we "knew" when we were children die.

I just saw this on tv and was so surprised! Its funny how some people are always in our minds as they were in their youth and they never age....sad news indeed.

I had a mad crush on Davy Jones when I was young. I was jealous of Marcia Brady when Davy came to visit her. I'm so sad to hear the news.

:sad My first concert was Davy and Mickey at Magic Mountain when I was about 8. I saw the Monkees several times on their "reunion" tour back in (I think) 1986 when MTV was showing reruns non-stop. It's like a part of my childhood is gone.

So sorry to hear about Davey's passing. I always enjoyed the Monkees and I remember Mickey as a child star on tv's Circus Boy.
