Haven't they been married for some ridiculous number of years, as celebrity marriages go?

I can't lie -- if I were faced with what Paula Patton is right now, I'd probably give he same response. It would not mean that at home everything was hunky dory and that my husband and I were not dealing with the issues. But I'd feel like it was not the business of anyone else, other than perhaps a minister or counselor we'd turn to for help. While my husband and I have never dealt with anything like cheating, like all couples, we've faced issues in the time we've been together. I've never thought those issues are helped by having them dissected by many people outside our marriage, so I keep them to myself. I don't see that much different in her saying it's not an issue on the red carpet, and me saying "He's great" when someone at a party asks me how my husband is on a day I just want to claw his eyes out.

Preach. What's she supposed to say, anyway? "Yeah, my man had his hands all over some blonde, we had a screaming fight over it and I broke all our wedding china, so now I'm headed to my lawyer's so I can sue him for every penny of royalties on 'Blurred Lines'"? Is it more palatable to be a sniveling public victim? She doesn't owe the public an explanation. Neither does he, for that matter.

I'm sure there are some people hoping that she would act out the part of "a sniveling public victim". People rush to try to be the first person to tell you less than great news, hoping for a show and for bragging rights as the deliverer of the message. Those people are not your friends; if anything, that was a message that you might want to deliver to your "friend" in person. I guarantee you the wife was not the only person to whom she sent that picture. I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT. Don't need them in my life.

The thing is, we don't know what goes on in their marriage and what agreements/allowances they have made. Whatever goes on between two people and what they decide their marriage will be is their decision and none of my business. I wouldn't want an open marriage, but I'm not going to judge someone else for wanting one.

well rumors on a major urban website and a blind gossip site that I frequent both say that they are swingers, and she encouraged the hookup. To each their own.

What I noticed in the photo tagged in the pap piece was that he look hammered. I mean slurring words hammered. That may be a problem for his wife as it could lead to lapses men are prone to take when drunk. It's her problem IF she wants to make it a problem. Swinging is a choice.

I just know that I would NEVER marry anyone who was a "celeb." And that definitely includes all the guys on any sports team and in a band. Too many women offering too many favors. It would take a saint not to partake. And then there's always the "wonder if he did" issue.
    Nope, not for me.
