People is reporting that Avril Lavigne is engaged to Chad Kroger from Nickelback. I don't know who I should feel sorrier for.

Maybe they can honeymoon at a nice rehab.

The music they make together can't possibly be worse than what they make now...right?

As we know from watching True Blood, it can always get worse!

    Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

So for those who liked the Frasier character was it more because of Cheers or his own show?

I do admit to liking the character, but the supporting casts were superb. His personal life has always been bizarre, including his marriage to that Camille woman. For some reason, I just never saw him the same. Then this new wife~~ummm he is headed to crazyville. All of his own making.

As for Rosie, I get that the denial part can be one factor for not getting immediate help. I am only 42 and thought I was having a heart issue a few weeks ago. After many hours of not feeling well and anxiety I finally went to the ER. Just in case. My heart rate was off the charts and I'd felt that way a few times before. My doctor is kind of a quack though and didn't think anything of my last check up and HBP. Guess he will have to make a decision to treat it now.

Avril and Chad? Wow, that's gonna be the biggest hate group on Facebook. LOL Let the jokes commence!

It didn't have to do with the show he was on for me. I liked him less and less the longer he played the character because I just got tired of the same old thing from him. It became pretty obvious that he wasn't capable of playing any character other than that.

I have to admit I loved the Frasier show...still do. I also think it's partly due to the very fine ensemble in the series.
Also, I now truly believe almost all the posters here are far nicer people than I am....I find some of Rosie's words suspect. Or maybe it's the absence of words...not sure. Some things just don't ring true to me but then Rosie's change from Queen of Nice to a somewhat mean and surly person lost me as a fan that I once was.

    Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I don't think Rosie was ever nice. Her early stand-up is just as harsh as it is now. The Queen of Nice b.s. was a construct for the talk show. I think she can be nice, but I don't think that's an accurate depiction of her personality.

I believe Rosie. I don't see a reason why she would lie about something like that, especially considering the fact that she has 4 kids who could see those stories

My take on the Rosie story:
It doesn't matter to me if it is true or not. What matters to me is that perhaps her story will save some women's lives because they wouldn't have realized they were having a heart attack or some other cardiac episode if they hadn't read her story.

It's true. The symptoms of men's heart attacks are so ingrained in us that we have no idea what the symptoms of a woman's heart attack is. Hopefully this will get women looking into it and paying more attention when their body starts doing something unusual.

What's scary too is that some of the the symptoms for heart attack in women are the same as the symptoms for Acid Reflux, something that isn't nearly as serious. I had AR for about 2 years and before I got diagnosed, I was really freaked out. I knew I couldn't be having a heart attack every day, but it was still scary.

Like JulieAnn said, hopefully, Rosie's story will compel other women to learn more about heart attack symptoms and pay better attention to their health.
