Stevie Wonder is getting a divorce! Apparently, he and his wife have been separated for several years. They have a couple of children together. The joke on the radio, this morning, is that he never "saw" it coming! Before anyone gets offended, that's the type of joke Stevie, himself, would make.
LOL. Yes, Stevie would say something like that.

Actually, my friends who are blind joke like this all the time. (They also say things like "It's so nice to see you!" when we haven't been together in awhile. And they are sincere.)

FannyMare, I am shocked, shocked I tell ya!

I have such a dirty mind, I think every song is about sex.

That may be TMI, so sorry for that!

I didn't even know Stevie Wonder was married.

Count me in as a Pink fan. I love Mr. President, F'n Perfect and Family Portrait.

Exactly! I loved The F**k Shop by 2 Live Crew (still have it on my iPod). I was shocked as an adult when I listened to it. I had no idea what it was about. I just loved the beat and it was an easy song to sing along too. Paul Revere by The Beastie Boys falls into that category too. While I agree that we need to be careful what our children are exposed to, I also think sometimes we as parents worry more about what the kids are hearing. Most of the time, they aren't even paying attention to what the song actually says - they just like the beat!!

It's been 40 years since the speculation about Puff the Magic Dragon being about marijuana started with denials all around. I still don't believe the denials, especially since the song was based on a poem written in 1959 by a 19-year old Cornell University student. I just love that song.

Unfortunately, the news about Randy Travis isn't surprising. It seems like he's been on a downward spiral for a while.
