"Blessed is the lonesome pioneer." -- Judee Sill (1973, "There's a Rugged Road")
I remember giggling over "Rock-a my soul in the bosom of Abraham"... we had no idea what it really meant. I don't think the kids feel uncomfortable over the songs, but I do think we do need to respect the parents' discomfort. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and you had to watch your child sing a song from another religion. Serperation of church and state.
Count your blessings!
I think my pain would be from the children SINGING, at all!!! Ear Protection!!!

I was really surprised to read this news today--Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with M.S.

I had sworn I would NOT watch The X Factor this season, however, I just read that Gene Simmons' (of KISS) daughter, Sophie just auditioned! I heard her sing at her parent's wedding and was very impressed. She has a great voice. I really would like to see how she does. Oh well, here I go again. LOL

Just that she's only 25 (looks like 40!), had a lousy childhood, most likely not given good direction/advice from the loons that are her parents and knows nothing about life, except the Hollywood-lifestyle.
Those are not good odds for her and it would surprise me if she turned out ok.
