I think you mean Hugh JackMAN But yes, he handles the paparazzi like a nice person. He doesn't go out of his way to be friendly to them, but he's not yelling or screaming at them either. Also, I'll bet he doesn't call the paps when he goes to the pharmacy AND he doesn't have "private" lunches at The Ivy and then pretend he's all put out that there are photographers there.

I was trying to think of the actress I've seen paparazzi pics of and she's always smiling at them - not in a "hey, I'm a big star" way, but just like a normal person. Sort of like she knows that's part of the job. Wish I could remember who it is....

I always see pictures like this of Hilary Duff. She seems like such a sweet girl! Even when the paps are following her to her damn prenatal doctor appointments.

Looks like Katy Perry and Russel Brand have reached an agreement out of court on their divorce. He's not asking for any of her money, even though there is no pre-nup and he could get half if he wanted to. Good for him.

Convicted Madonna stalker captured

Robert Dewey Hoskins was convicted of stalking Madonna in 1996.

Justice has been served. And rather quickly.

Not long after the Los Angeles Police Department announced that the "psychotic" and "very violent" man convicted of stalking Madonna had escaped from a mental hospital, they were able to break the good news that he has been caught.

Robert Dewey Hoskins was apprehended around 9 a.m. this morning not far from the mental facility from which he escaped. The 54-year-old is currently in police custody and is being escorted back to the Metropolitan State Hospital.

Hoskins, who served a decade in prison for threatening and stalking the pop queen, was able to walk away from the facility without being noticed just one week ago. Police had been searching for the man, describing him as "highly psychotic" and "very violent" and asking the public to contact authorities immediately if they came into contact with the man.

No mug shot is being released at this time.

Madonna's camp has declined to comment on the incident.

In any case, Madonna's not the only star who's no doubt breathing a sigh of relief at his capture this morning: Halle Berry, too, was allegedly one of the celebrity targets of Hoskins, as she cited increased death threats as her motivation to leave the country in a recent legal filing.

That guy has been stalking Halle Berry - Madonna was his previous target many years ago (in the 90's). Weird what the media picks up on in a story. The guy has been actively stalking Halle, but the media chooses to focus on him stalking Madonna when it happened 17 years ago. He is the reason Halle is trying to get permission to leave the country with her daughter and go live with her fiance in France.

If he's been in prison since 1996 (well, state hospital at any rate) how was he able to pursue Halle Berry to where she currently feels threatened enough to leave the country? Has he been writing her from jail? He was re-captured with the vicinity of the facility which is in Norwalk ( a city in LA County) but now that he has been re-incarcerated how can he be a threat to anyone?

He's been sending her threatening letters for a while. In one, he said he would slit her throat. She was worried that he would come after her. A valid concern, since he got on Madonna's property years ago and was shot by one of her security guards. They caught him and he's in custody now, but if the guy can escape once, he can do it again.

From what I've read, Halle has two men stalking her that are very scary. Yet another reason why I wouldn't want to be famous.
