LOS ANGELES -- Pop star Michael Jackson has been taken to UCLA Medical Center by ambulance suffering from cardiac arrest, fire officials confirm.

Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a 911 call at Jackson's home around 12:26 p.m. He was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda says.

Joe Jackson (Michael's father) is telling sources that he suffered a heart attack and is "not ok".

My prayers are with Michael and his family.

Wow, that is pretty major for MJ. I hope he's ok. He may be weird but he's still a person with 2 young children.

OMG. I sure hope Michael is OK. They always seem to talk about celebs in 3's and I just can't imagine losing him like we did Farrah.

It's being reported on TMZ but I don't see it anywhere else.

If only TMZ is saying that then I wouldn't believe it. It does sound pretty serious though.

tmz is saying he has died...but headline news hasnt said that yet on the tv...wow...bad week for celebrities..Ed..Farrah..and now Michael ...then the poor wannabe Katie Irene is probably ticked that all of this is taking away from her news

No. That's not been reported yet and hopefully it won't.
Supposedly, the paramedics gave him CPR earlier and they took him to UCLA around Noon time. He has cardiac arrest. That qualifies as an emergency.
Wolf Blitzer on CNN has been talking about him nonstop for quite a while now, so I'm praying all is OK. Too fr**gin much is going on in LA today.
