No, I reached my Denise Richards quota when she appeared on an episode of The Dog Whisperer.

I can't think of any possible reason why I would want to watch Denise Richards in anything.

On a sadder note, we lost director/actor Sidney Pollack today, another victim of cancer. He was 73 and to my mind is much more worth talking about.

That's very sad news...he was an amazing talent.

Sad to hear, he made some great Robert Redford movies (and others too, but I'm partial to Redford). RIP Mr. Pollock

Just saw him in Made of Honor last week (he played Patrick Dempsey's father). He was a great talent.

    Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I think the best description I heard this morning of his acting ability is that when he was on screen, he was just there -- it seemed so effortless to him. He was present, fit the scene, and fit it so well that you didn't step back and say "Hey, that's Sydney Pollack". He was just there as he belonged.

Had he shared publicly that he had cancer? I don't recall having heard that news, and was rather surprised this morning to hear he'd died of cancer.

He had one of the best lines in the movie: "I begged you to get therapy"

RIP Mr. Pollack. You will be missed.
