| He's mine! | Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News She is a very beautiful girl, i find nothing remotely sexual about the picture. Racy is her lifting up her top to take a picture of her bra(the one before the current). This is all a bunch of kerfuffle about nothing.

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News I don't see anything wrong the photo either, but I do find the backpedalling and finger pointing pathetic and annoying. Just goes to show that a pop tart is a pop tart is a pop tart, just varying degrees of idiocy.

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News OK, commentators! Here's a question! Would you be OK if your 15 year old daughter (imaginary, or not) did this?!

The pictures felt like her playing dress up to me. I agree with the comment upthread that the picture of her and her father was a little odd. It looked like a photo of a couple, not a father and daughter.

As I said before, I don't think the photo of her covering herself with a towel/blanket/sheet (or whatever it was) is appropriate for a young teen. Someone said you see more revealing things of girls her age on the beach. This is true. But it's all in context. I would've had a problem with her wearing a bikini and looking all sex kittenish in a photo spread as well. It's not necessarily dirty, but it's also not age appropriate. If she wants to pose for Playboy when she turns 18, more power to her. Not my cup of tea, but hey, she'd at least be legally an adult. Anyone remember Britney Spears' Rolling Stone cover--the first one when she was 17? I didn't like those photos either, because they were obviously sexualizing someone underage. Granted, she was closer to 18, but still. You don't see photos of teenage boys their age being sexualized like this. And yes, there are some 15-year-old boys whose bodies and faces could pass for 19. And no, I'm not saying young boys should be treated this way! | |

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News I wouldn't let my kid get into show business in the first place, so it's not likely Annie Liebowitz would be wanting to photograph her/him.

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News Just think of all the young models out there and how provocative some of them are. If I had a daughter, I would not allow her to do a photo shoot like this until she turned 18. |

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News I think that most celebrities consider it a privilege to be photographed by Annie Liebowitz, and more than likely that's the reason the photo shoot turned out the way it did - my guess is that the Cyrus family assumed that Annie is an artist who knew what she was doing and didn't interfere. Billy Ray or whomever probably signed a release for the pictures before seeing them, because let's face it, Annie Liebowitz does stunning work and there wouldn't be any reason for thinking that the photos would be "inappropriate". In fact, it looks to me like Liebowitz shot them mindful of the fact she was photographing a 15-year-old, because they're very tame when compared with a lot of her work. I don't have a problem with them. My kids can continue on their merry way and keep listening to Miley's CDs and watching her on TV.

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News Much ado about nothing, in my opinion. There's more skin showing on any beach or at any pool and I saw nothing lewd or lascivious in those shots.
