Sadly enough, Blues, I would imagine she'll have several who'd marry her in a minute. A gold-digging publicity-seeking male fame-whore who puts fame ahead of ethics or common sense -- in other words, the male equivalent of herself. When one of those types is trying to get his/her name in the media, they don't care who they have to hook up with to get it.

Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

This isn't so much about a celebrity, but about a site covering celebrities... namely. TMZ. They ran a story about ex-Bachelor Andy Baldwin's latest assignment - looking for the human remains of a WW2-era bomber crew. Unfortunately, they weren't exactly all that happy about it. Actual article follows:

"Bachelor" On Hunt For Human Remains - TMZ.com - Entertainment News, Celebrity Gossip and Hollywood Rumors

"Bachelor" On Hunt For Human Remains
Posted Mar 20th 2008 10:01PM by TMZ Staff

Former "Bachelor" bachelor Andy Baldwin just got back from the island of Palau in the South Pacific -- not on vacation, on a mission with the Navy. Now let's talk about why we the taxpayers are footing the bill on such BS.

Baldwin was among 20 military types who were on a search mission in the middle of the ocean. What, you ask, were they looking for? A B-24J bomber that went down during the war. Not Iraq. Not Vietnam. No, not Korea. We're talking WWII, as in more than 60 years ago.

Turns out, the military spends $52 million each year to find the remains of missing soldiers -- it's part of the POW/MIA program. That's all well and good depending on the circumstances. But a crash that is ancient history, at a time when the economy sucks and the Federal government is sucking the life out of everyone with taxes??

Baldwin, a Navy medic and diver, and crew found what could be human remains. We're told it's all being tested in the lab and it could take months, even years, to determine identities. At least he got a really good tan.
Let's just say it didn't go over too well. 26 pages of comments, at 15 each... that's at least 375 comments. And almost all of them are furious at TMZ.

Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I saw that story, Leo and I thought those comments were extremely callous. I'm sure they would feel differently if it was the body of a family member that was being recovered. Plus, for many millions of people, WWII is NOT "ancient history."

Oh, and so this discussion doesn't veer off in a different direction....

I was very sad to hear of Paul Scofield's death. I loved him in A Man For All Seasons.

Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I was thinking the same thing. A family member of someone lost at war doesn't want to hear about the cost of recovering a loved one. He/she would want to think that the government would do whatever necessary to bring that person home. Silly as it may seem.

She'll be about ready for a "boy toy" to counteract having to have spent all that time with an old man.

Sounds like it's official.

Pamela Anderson's marriage nears end

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Pamela Anderson's new husband - apparently a specialist in short relationships with celebrities - agrees that their two-month marriage should be voided, according to court papers filed Friday.

Rick Salomon agrees in papers responding to a filing by the "Baywatch" actress that the marriage should be annulled because of fraud, though neither set of documents elaborated.

Salomon did not ask for spousal support and asked that it not be awarded to Anderson.

A phone message left for Anderson's publicist was not immediately returned Friday.

Salomon is known for making a sex videotape with then-girlfriend Paris Hilton and was previously married to actress Shannen Doherty for nine months.

He and Anderson were married Oct. 6 in Las Vegas and separated Dec. 13.

Anderson, 40, was previously married to singer Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I was more surprised at the comments she made on Ellen about how it's so important to her to be a good mom. How she'll "go with only a few hours of sleep to have breakfast with her sons when she gets in at 4am". Mhmmmm because nothing says good mommy like a mom who parties till 4am.
