Hmm, I'd never noticed that until you mentioned it, but your hubby is right, she does look more like Plato! Nice catch on the looking-alike.

A-list celebs need Hep A shot after NY birthday bash By Michelle Nichols
Thu Feb 21, 6:09 PM ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Celebrities Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and Madonna are among hundreds of patrons of a New York bar being urged by New York health officials on Thursday to get a Hepatitis A vaccination after a bartender was found to be infected.

The city health department issued a statement, warning anyone who visited Socialista in Manhattan's West Village on February 7, 8 or 11 to get a vaccination.

Local media reports said Moore hosted a 30th birthday bash for her husband Kutcher at the venue on February 7 after a star-studded dinner at Gemma restaurant.

Entertainment photo agency WireImage showed guests at the Socialista event, including Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ivanka Trump, Liv Tyler, Catherine Keener, Lucy Liu and Salma Hayek.

Other celebrities reported at Socialista were Javier Bardem, nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart and fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.

Socialista was not immediately available for comment, nor were representatives of Moore, Kutcher or Madonna.

"Any patron who visited the establishment after 8 p.m. on February 7th or 8th, or after 10 p.m. on February 11th (the times the infected person worked after becoming infectious), is considered to be at risk and needs a preventive shot," the health department said.

It said the bar owners were cooperating fully and estimated between 700 and 800 people had visited the bar on those nights, but added that no cases of illness had yet been identified.

Hepatitis A is a liver disease caused by a virus and is spread from person to person by putting something in the mouth that has been contaminated with traces of fecal matter from an infected person, the department said.

Symptoms include jaundice, fatigue, abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea.

Jennifer Lopez delivers twins in New York - Yahoo! News

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony became the parents of twins early on Friday in a New York-area hospital, according to People magazine, which reportedly paid upward of $6 million for the photo rights.

The boy and girl, delivered in a Long Island, New York, hospital, were the first for the 38-year-old actress and singer, whose efforts to become pregnant have filled tabloid pages in the past few years. Anthony, a 39-year-old salsa singer, has a daughter and two sons from two previous relationships.

Lopez did not confirm her much-rumored pregnancy until early November, when she announced the news to a Miami audience while on a concert tour with her husband.

The trade publication Advertising Age reported earlier this week that People magazine was poised to pay the couple between $4 million and $6 million for exclusive U.S. rights to the first photos of the twins.

    Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I swear I am moving on to another thread after this one.....honest!

Back before Rachael Ray made it B-I-G, she used to make her 30-minute meals in an area gourmet shop. That caught the eye of a local TV news producer who then hired her for a little segment on the local news. She would go into people's homes and cook them a meal in 30 mintues and that would be the segment that aired on TV.

Anyway, one day she was in a local supermarket at the checkout trying to get things rung up to take to someone's home for her little TV spot. Whatever happened at the checkout, I don't know. Maybe her check wasn't clearing. Or there was a mixup on item pricing. Or maybe she was being waited on by a new, somewhat inexperienced cashier.

Whatever happened sent her into a tizzy as she started screaming at the cashier, "Don't you know who I am???" It was so obvious the the cashier had no clue who she was, but her attitude was a real turn off!

She couldn't just tell the cashier that everything was "super fantabulous" or one of those other delightful phrases she's "invented"?

My husband put it best when he said that the photos of Lindsay Lohan looked more like Dana Plato than Marilyn Monroe. UGH. She's not a bad looking young woman, but she is no Marilyn Monroe. And not to insult anyone with freckles, but I don't need to see all of la Lohan's freckles all over her body! And...that wig looked hideous on her!

    The end.
I agree she is not Marilyn and why would anyone even try. I agree about the wig.

I had a friend flying home from Arizona several years ago. It was very late, she was catching a red eye to the east coast. A group of people came in and tripped over her luggage. One of them apologized in an English accent and helped her right her stuff, then asked if she wanted an autograph or a picture with him. She looked at him and said: I don't even know who you are. He laughed and said, all right then and walked off smiling. It was Ozzy Osbourne. One of his entourage hung back and told her who it was and she just shrugged and said: I don't listen to his music. When she met her future husband and told him the story, he was FURIOUS with her because he's a HUGE Ozzy fan. In 15 years, he's never forgiven her for not getting the autograph from 2 years BEFORE he even met her.

But she said Ozzy was extremely nice and polite and very friendly.

    Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

Several years ago I took a flight with about 4 of the male "stars" from Days of Our Lives. The actor who plays Bo was the only one in first class; the rest were with the rest of us. Anyway, NOBODY on the plane knew who they were (except me, and I wasn't telling!), and the actor who played Patrick was trying his best to get attention. He was throwing full bags of candy all of the plane about people, and EVERYONE was getting ticked off at him and yelling at him. When the plane finally landed, he stomped off the plane like a big baby.

    Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News

I have a recent celebrity story - although not too entertaining. My husband and I were flying out of Vegas this last Monday (President's Day), and while at a diner at the airport my husband spotted Dave Navarro. No one was recognizing him and he was rather inconspicuous while eating his dinner and we didn't want to draw attention to him, so we let it go (no picture on cameraphone, etc). As it turns out, he was on our flight. About halfway thru the flight - he got up and went into the restroom, and let me just tell you - he was in there a looooong time. Hmmmm.... So as we land in Long Beach, he is walking thru the airport to baggage claim at the same time as my husband so my husband held up his camera phone for a pic. (Mind you, NO ONE has noticed him yet!!) Dave became rather irritated and blocked the shot. He then stood at baggage check for a good 15 minutes with NO ONE recognizing him. Don't know what the big flippin deal would have been about a picture - apparently he needs the exposure...

BTW - he is an extremely small man... and someone needs to explain to him that the "no smoking" rule in planes applies to EVERYONE...

I can think of at least two other activities he might have been doing in that restroom for so long. Only one of them is illegal.
