| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News I'm not sure what "skeevy" is, but if it's "gross", I agree! I guess they deserve each other. I'm glad for Nicole and hope it goes ok for her. I have always felt that Tom enjoys the older kids in the spotlight, and Nicole always seemed to try to stay out of the limelight with the kids. Different strokes. |

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News **shudder** Pam Anderson and Rick Solomon should stay married just to spare the rest of the world from their skeevi-ness. I feel sorry for the spawn already.

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News I know that you have to make the courts aware that you are/are not pregnant when you are getting a divorce, but I don't know how it affects the procedure. Will they deny a final divorce decree, without extenuating circumstances, until you are not pregnant?

| Re: Miscellaneous Celebrity News Different states have different rules regarding family law, but I know in many states they want to find out if the woman is pregnant becuase if a child is born during a marriage, there is a legal presumption that the husband is the father. This legal presumption is a protection for that child as it means the father is legally obligated to support the child (unless they prove the child is not theirs). The state doesn't want someone to get divorced while pregnant because then the unborn child loses that legal presumption and the mother would need to institute a paternity action against the ex-husband to get child support (if he is the father), that wouldn't be necessary if they didn't divorce while pregnant. Hope that makes sense, and even more so, I hope Pam isn't pregnant. It sounds like a bad start.
