I have to wonder why the judge did not ask Dina what she is living off of moneywise?

Probably because Michael is not seeking alimony from her? Or else she was asked, provided the documentation, and it was a non-issue.

This is really apropos of nothing, but every time I read a new item about one of these silly young people I think to myself "s/he needs a hobby". Seriously. If their parents had had enough sense to try to get them involved in something creative and somewhat mentally stimulating (art, music, even model trains - something beyond whatever gravy train they're riding [and no, what Britney does doesn't qualify as music]) when they were younger, they might find that their first response to boredom wasn't just going out for the sake of going out and there would be a lot more interesting/important things for us to read about.
All I wanted was a 45, a stinking 45 - the record or the gun. I'd even settle for the damn malt liquor. - Al Bundy.

Is she still claiming to be "managing" Ali and Lindsay? What a joke!!

You know, I wonder if these young celebs would've fared better if their parents had encouraged them to continue their education while pursuing their careers. It doesn't mean they have to graduate from college at 22...they could've taken a few classes here and there...to keep busy, keep their minds stimulated and give them a dose of "normalness." Brooke Shields, Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman, Danica McKellar, Fred Savage, Christy Turlington, Reese Witherspoon (though she didn't finish college) all went to college. Granted, some of them didn't have much of a career going when they went. But others, like Natalie Portman, were pretty darned famous when they were going to school.

I'm not saying school is for everyone, but when you've got all that money and fame, it's not a bad idea to balance your life off with higher education. Go study a language or literature. It can only help you as an artist/actor/singer etc.

Is it just me, or does Lindsay's Mugshot say "What's Up Doc?"
    She looks like Bugs Bunny!!

She looks as if she's reaching for Faeries in the picture. Lindsay is totally going to jail. Nicole couldn't get out of it, neither could Paris. Blair, cannot undo this one( that is unless she's offered a year of court-appointed rehab in lieu a long prison term if at all). She'll probably be isolated as well, but i hope someone reaches into her cell and slaps her. Maybe then she'll buy herself a clue.
Also, their is some noise being made at some sites over Ali Lohan(13) wearing what looks like an inappropriate bathing suit. She's basically wearing a string bikini. I can't say i'd let any kid of mine at that age even think about showing up at anyones pool wearing that.

Dina's definitely starting young with Ali, that's for sure. At 13, she's already starting to look like a Lindsay in training with her wardrobe, her pushy mother, her "singing" career, etc. It's pretty messed up.

Remember that adorable, freakishly talented little girl who starred in the remake of "The Parent Trap"? I wonder what ever happened to her. As for Lindsey Lohan, she's got a parent trap of her own.

Unfortunately Child Protective Services in California seems to be pretty useless. On TV they are always doin' stuff (boo hiss, "Judging Amy" for misleading us), but in the actual world, Stage Moms seem to be able to get away with whatever they want...
