Spent the day dodging papparazzi, lol! Although she gave them the slip leaving the hospital until she got home, after she got into her car at home and drove off with her friend, you can hear her on one video telling them she's dying for a Starbucks, so she heads off to her usual daily stops of the gas station and Starbucks, driving slow enough to let the paps keep up with her. After that, she's on several videos doing her usual hang out with the paps thing, and even driving down the road slowly at one point, taking pics of the paps with her cell phone camera (hey! how's that phone working if all her cell phone chargers were supposedly taken? ).... just another normal day for Britney and her pap-posse.

Dodging the paps....

What really saddens me is that people fall for her crap.

Go on YouTube and view the video that Hollywood.tv posted of her latest jaunt. Sure Hollywood.tv is scum, but reading the comments they are all along the lines of "leave this girl alone, you are killing her paparazzi". Like she's not the one leading THEM around like the Pied Piper.

Wake up and smell the coffee world. Sam The Sham and her are partners in this mess. Both of them have been feeding his insatiable need to be noticed. The paparazzi are indeed scum, but they are being used as well as using.

The day I see her employing a driver, an anonymous car that can be cloaked by its very similarity to every other chauffeured car, and a security force--things she can afford a million times over or more--THEN I might start to believe her whining.

Back in the hospital. NOW.

Oh great, Krom.... now I have the song 'Wooly Bully' stuck in my head! (an old song by Sam the Sham and The Pharoahs for anyone too young to remember)

And to make having that song stuck in my head even worse is one of the lines in the song, which makes me laugh at the utter appropriateness of Krom's analogy, because of this line from the song below: (just think of Matty as Sam and Hatty as Britney)

Matty told Hatty, "That's the thing to do.
Get you someone really to pull the wool with you."

So that's what Matty and Hatty did, they went to the magical land known as Hollywood and began to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

Great analogy, Krom!

The conservatorship of Brit-Brit's moolah and personal affairs was debated in court today.

Report: Britney Reaches Out to Schwarzenegger; Conservatorship Hearing Thursday

Thursday , February 14, 2008

LOS ANGELES —
As Britney Spears awaited a conservatorship hearing Thursday meant to decide whether her father can retain control of her life, her self-proclaimed manager Sam Lutfi reportedly called a former rep for Arnold Schwarzenegger Tuesday to seek the California governor's aid.

"Britney says her civil rights have been violated and she wants to talk to Arnold about it," a source with firsthand knowledge of the conversation told the New York Daily News.

"She wants the governor to look into why she can't get an attorney," the source added, referring to the star's inability to keep a lawyer in her continuing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Meanwhile, a source close to the situation told E! News that Spears hopes her attorney will head into court Thursday — the day Spears' father Jamie Spears' temporary conservatorship initially expires — with "compelling evidence" showing she is fit to take back control of her own life.

Britney is "getting along great" with mom Lynne, but resents her father's interference in her personal and financial affairs, the source said.

Jamie was placed in charge of Spears' welfare on Feb. 1 while she was still under observation at UCLA Medical Center.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz has since upheld her father's argument that Britney wasn't fit to hire her own counsel to fight the conservatorship; Goetz has also given Jamie and co-conservator Andrew Wallet the power to fire Britney's business manager, Howard Grossman.

E! News reported that a court representative has evaluated Britney and a status report summing up the results was turned in Wednesday and will be evaluated by Goetz at Thursday's hearing, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET.

But Spears is "just fooling her parents" at the moment, the insider told E!

She "is telling her friends she wants the conservatorship to end. She keeps talking about it. She is behaving herself because she wants to get her [life] back together and get rid of her dad."

Spears and her mom were spotted shopping together in West Hollywood this week and, on Wednesday, Lynne accompanied her daughter to her third dance lesson in as many days at Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, where she's been working with a group of youngsters, ages four to seven.
And what happened?

Britney Spears' dad retains control of her affairs

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The father of troubled pop star Britney Spears will retain control over her affairs for about three more weeks, a court official ruled on Thursday.

Jamie Spears was granted "temporary conservatorship" over his 26-year-old daughter's affairs some two weeks ago when she was in a Los Angeles hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

Los Angeles Court Commissioner Reva Goetz has now extended that conservatorship -- which gives him control over her business, finances and some personal affairs -- until March 10, according to celebrity Web site TMZ.com.

The site also said that Spears' brother Bryan, 30, was been named trustee of his sister's trust.

Spears' life has spun out of control for more than a year since her break-up with ex-husband Kevin Federline with whom she is battling for visitation rights to their two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

In recent months, the Louisiana native has been photographed wearing pink wigs and talking in a British accent as she traveled around Los Angeles with her self-styled manager, Sam Lutfi.

In January, Spears was hospitalized for psychiatric care twice, and court officials slapped a restraining order against Lutfi to keep him away from the singer.

Last week Jamie and Lynne Spears, Britney's mother, said in a statement they believed "her life is presently at risk," and in court documents they claimed "Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney" and controlled her life.

So apparently The Governator was smart enough to stay out of this.

Meanwhile, the latest wack-a-doodle theory from Star Magazine:

Star Magazine | News | Star Exclusive! Britney & Adnan: Married in Mexico!

Quote:
Star Exclusive! Britney & Adnan: Married in Mexico!

When Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib fled to Mexico last month, it wasn't just for the margaritas. Star has learned exclusively that their quickie vacation included a trip to the altar!

A source tells Star, "When Britney got out of the hospital the first time, Adnan talked her into going to Mexico to get married, saying that was the only way he could protect her." But Brit's paparazzo boytoy forgot to mention that he was still married to second wife AzLynn Berry! Oops!

Since the marriage wasn't legal, says an insider, Adnan is doing everything in his power to "worm his way back into her life, promising her that he'll get married again once his divorce is final." Britney's even put up cash to help speed the process!

"In all my years," said an insider, "I've never seen as big a dirtbag as this guy. I can't believe how he has taken advantage of this woman when she is in such a fragile state."
The "nice" part of this theory by Star Mag is that they probably can just say it and nobody will care to try and prove or disprove it, since we all know Ghalib is already married. They're risking nothing by spilling a story about a marriage that wouldn't be valid anyway.

Re: Britney Spears Just Won't Go Away

Ah, those wacky attorneys and their adventures!

It seems one may have successfully managed to bring in the federal government to this Britney's Circus of the Absurd.

Quote:
State Court May Have Lost Britney Jurisdiction
Posted Feb 15th 2008 5:05PM by TMZ Staff

It's the craziest thing we've ever heard, but it's probable the State court has lost jurisdiction in the Britney Spears conservatorship case.

Sources at the L.A. County Superior Court tell TMZ, "It's possible jurisdiction has shifted to the U.S. Federal District Court." How, you ask? Well yesterday, a lawyer filed legal papers in federal court asking a judge to seize control of the conservatorship case on grounds Britney was at great risk in the L.A. County Court system.

The sources say just by filing the paperwork, the federal court probably has obtained jurisdiction. We know that sounds bizarre, but legal experts tell us that is indeed what has happened.

A well-placed source in the L.A. County Court system says even if the federal court has jurisdiction, they believe the conservatorship and all orders are still in effect, but no further orders can be made or modified unless and until a federal judge kicks it back to the state.

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy. Stay tuned.
