Kimberley Locke

Kimberley Locke was born and raised in Tennessee. She grew up singing, both in church and for fun, and by high school was a member of her school's singing and performance group. Locke studied business at Nashville's Belmont University and sang in various local bands before friends and family encouraged her to try out for American Idol's 2003 season. She did well, and before long she was standing in the semifinalist's circle with Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard. Though she was cut before the finals, Locke did land a spot on the program's resulting tour, and that exposure led to a recording contract with Curb. Her debut single, "8th World Wonder," appeared in March 2004; it was followed in May by the full-length One Love, which featured a comfortable mix of light pop, contemporary R&B, and adult contemporary ballads.

Her and Ruben were my absolute favorites in Season 2 of AI.....I have always thought she was a absolutely beautiful woman...whether she's a plus size or not!

I'm not crazy about the red hair though! I wonder if that's a Lane Bryant dress...I'd like to have that!

Her and Ross the Intern are the 2 I'm looking most forward to watching!!!!

Whoa! If I hadn't read the thread title I wouldn't have recognized her with red hair.

I Love Kimberly Locke..In American Idol Season 2 let me just say my LEAST Favorable Season to date..Kimberly Locke was like that Ray Of Hope in the whole Competition she was just amazing.And I think she can lose weight on this show and still look and sound really good wheather she was big or small..^.^

I think the dress she is wearing is the same one that Carisa the runner up in season 1 of Bravo's Top Design also wore in some of those episodes.

I think she is beautiful. I hope she is going on the show to get healthy, not because she is trying to be skinny.
