I tuned in for the last half hour and I couldn't help but do anything but laugh! I don't know how I found this all hilarious, but it was for some reason! I'm going to have to find a way to watch this and American Idol/Amazing Race/Survivor on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday... (that's just another reason I need to buy a TiVo sometime........)
EDIT: Wow, I'm dumb. AI/TAR/S are on at 8pm and this is on at 9 :P Durrrrrh I'm ready for this semester to be over.
Cindy Margolis USED to be cute, but makes the critical mistake of trying to look younger than she is--why can't women age gracefully?? Her presentation points had to be for the way she was shaking her boobs; the food presentation was unremarkable. And how on God's green earth can she get 19 of 20 points on flavor when her Sezhuan (??) beef doesn't have a Sezhuan flavor according to one of the judges?
I have to put in a quick plug for Tony Gonzales. He may be the only player on the KC Chiefs who actually earns his paycheck.
Bravo TV re showed the episode at 11 Eastern/10 Central.
According to their website schedule it is the same all week.
Just in case you want to watch it twice! :lol
Or if you missed the first episode and just can't go on!:lol
I had to work late but fortunately I remembered to set the VCR....I won't get to watch it today but just reading over this thread...I'm really sad that Alison Sweeney didn't advance!
Think that Cindy won because of her husband? I thought for sure that Allison would advance, after all she's on Days and that's a big draw for NBC.
It was a funny show, but I have the same problem, too many other good things to watch this week.
Wow the audience was loud. I think the show is quite entertaining and fast paced, the chef's pass and missing ingredients make it more exciting.
The judges said Allison's menu was the most difficult and she had problem with the crepe.
I liked the show. Alan Thicke sounded drunk to me, though.
And I liked Tony's shirt. Where can I get one of those?
They all surprised me by getting their meals completed and plated before time ran out.
Wow! What a shocker!!! Who knew a cooking show would keep you trembling on your seat in expectation?! It just made me nervous watching all the hype!! I guess I'll just read about it here!
I thought Allison would move on to the next round.
Here's the link to the recipes from last night...if there weren't so many I'd post them all. Some of them don't look too hard to make.
