Alan Thicke: is an actor, author, producer, composer, and television host with experience in film, theater and concerts. Thicke has also earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor and seven Emmy Award nominations (five for writing, two for acting.)

Television audiences know Thick best as Jason Seaver from the 1980’s comedy, ‘Growing Pains’. Thicke has also appeared in other television shows such as, ‘Hope and Gloria’, ‘Just Shoot Me’, ‘7th Heaven’, and ‘Son of the Beach’.

Why does anyone ever have Alan Thicke on anything? He was hardly even a grade C celeb when he DID have a show. By now he's got to be down to about grade F. His main long-term legacy is TV theme songs (The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, and an older theme to Wheel of Fortune they apparently don't use anymore).

Alan Thicke should be on The Surreal Life, he's so out of things. He makes Tom Arnold look like a superstar.
