Did they quit or take leave from their REAL jobs?
Something I've wondered about (and I haven't been able to find much information online other than what's in their bios) is what about their JOBS? It's my understanding that the Apprentice candidates had to be available in NYC for about 2 months. I doubt they are allowed to do any work "offsite" for their other jobs, aside from there not being time.
For the folks who have their own businesses, etc. this might not be a problem.
But, from what I know so far:
Heidi is a Senior Acct Exec at Qwest Communications.
Ereka was a consultant or whatever with Clinique.
Nick works for Xerox.
I read that Kristina's father owns the real estate company she works for, so she has nothing to worry about.
So, did they just quit? Anyone know anything else?
(I saw an article where a former "Survivor" contestant said he got an unpaid LOA but his employer didn't like it, but that things worked out okay because he ended up making contacts from being a contestant and got another job.)
The race is back!
There's a thread discussing this already, but the gist of it is that these people have "jobs" that are flexible in nature, and they can probably take time off without too much worry.
The race is back!
Speaking of this, though, I meant to say this after last week's episode.
I *really* liked Kwame's line he had on the episode:
"I have my whole life to be ordinary, and this experience to be extraordinary."
Yeah, I remember that Kwame said he already has a nice life (w/Goldman Sachs managing other people's wealth and investments).
Is Kristi's real name Kristina? I didn't know that.
