@srs in Oregon, re Clay/song: You know I can see that he would, he seems like a nice person, maybe he was just overcome with shyness or something or didn't even know a second song since it was soon after his win on Idol. It may be one of those things if he had it to do over again, he would go out and just sing anything even the same song over again.

Clay knew more than one song, because American Idol contestants are required to learn at least one new song every week.
