He was very ill, and died not long after Jose's last appearance on the show. I don't know what the lag is between taping and broadcasting, but even if it were months, I suppose there's no way Jose could know when he got the call if his father had days, weeks, or months left. Or what the time he spent with his father after he left meant to him or his dad.

Nene is an uneducated, classless "poser" who can put on a good act. Many years ago, when I worked for a local televangelist, I met many women (wives of televangelists, wives of traveling preachers) just like her. Uggghhhh.

I don't know if her lack of education has anything to do with it. Probably half the people on this show don't have much of an education. I don't really see Nene as someone posing. She is pretty real and honest about herself. Her marital problems are out in the open for all to see. She allows that. Also, she got plastic surgery on TV and is open about being a stripper as a young woman. Heck, she even let her TV show film her as she met her father (for the first time) after her mom lead her to believe it was another man. I don't think that would put her in the same category as the televangelists's wives. She makes it clear that she lives for the drama.

This makes sense and I think it's the exact reason why Jose Conseco left. No way he'd win in the fundraising challenges. The difference is he did admit it on the show.

Maybe your formal schooling ended at grade 9, but not your education. You've apparently done a great job of educating yourself and learning from sources outside of the usual classroom walls.
Unschooled? Maybe.
Uneducated? Definitely not.

I think when Star feels the need to break out the degrees, that's probably all she feels she has left to use. Meatloaf called her on her crap.

Marlee may have raised a great deal of money on one task (with EVERYONE'S contributions), but she has been seriously coasting since then. She failed miserably as a PM this last time, and she is the reason the team lost. However, she smartly let Star and Meatloaf duke it out.
