Really all she had to say was that she knew from the beginning they were setting HER up to lose, but that she had her finger on the purse of the task the whole time ... and at the presentation for the kids, quicky turned some lemons into not so sweet lemonade ... but at least satisfied the kids with some entertainment. I doubt Trump would fire Dionne ... but she sure is cranky, self-important and just stubborn. I guess she feels that being 70 entitles you to just be rude.
ITA. Lisa masterminded her own firing. Trump gave her every possible chance to save herself, practically spoonfeeding her the answers and she still couldn't/wouldn't do it. So it's entirely possible, she didn't mind being fired at all. I'm not sure I'd want to continue with some of those mean, nasty old biddies and their inflated egos.

I agree. I was actually disappointed that Lisa didn't fight harder for herself in the boardroom. I mean, Star was responsible for the book and the idea was Dionne's (which they both were soooo proud to claim full ownership). I would have expressed to Donald that both ladies felt the need to claim full ownership for the project DURING the challenge so both ladies needed to take full blame in the boardroom. I would have done everything in my power to make that powerplay that they pulled...bite them in their non-team playing butts. LOL Yes, she was the project manager but Hatch made it out of the boardroom so she did have a chance of survival. I completely agree that she was probably just tired of dealing with the nasty attitudes and drama.

He has a bias based on personal connections. He is always aware of his personal branding and reputation, as well. I don't care, I really enjoy this show!

I cannot wait to see him fire Dionne. I expect to see Star last a very long time. Not pleased with that but she will.

He sees that there is an alliance between Star, Nene, Dionne and LaToya. I bet we see him aim to break that up at some point. Though loyality is high on his list of valuable traits he will fire LaToya seeing that protecting her is a poor business decision.
Ugh - for a woman of Dionne's maturity (and I use that term loosely) she has shown herself to be selfish and classless. I cannot wait to see her fired.

Frankly, I think this is Star's to lose - if she's not the winner I'll be shocked. Not sure about how his relationship with Baba Waba is, but she fired Star's butt - can The Donald. I dont' find her to be a savvy business woman - I find her to be a bully who knows how to argue -which doesn't make her a good player - it makes her a good manipulator.

I love Meatloat, L'il Jon, John Rich and Nicki Taylor.

No way was Trump firing Star, maybe Dionne if Lisa had've thrown her under the bus, but Trump hates people who dont' fight for themselves - and Lisa didn't.

Lisa was treated more poorly than I have seen any adult in a long time on television. What is this high school? I am so sick and tired of Donald saying you do not have it in you. What to be a success you need to be a jerk? Maybe that is the way he succeeded, but that is not the recipe to follow in my book. I did not like Lisa Rinna prior to this show, and on all the other shows that I have seen her on Soaptalk and DWTS she always came off clueless and daft. I think she carried herself respectfully, and I always applaud people that can admit their faults. Starr and Dionne sickened me. Scare tactics are not the way to succeed, and I think that the way they are acting on here is going to do nothing to help their careers out.
Good points. I have the feeling that people get fired more for their ability to create ratings than anything else. When Meat Loaf singled out Gary Busey, who I assume DT wants to keep on the show for awhile, Trump totally talked him out of his opinion. For this reason I thought Dionne would be going because her demographic is older. (I loved her music, but a legend?) I think he realized that the drama would be better with Dionne and Star than it would be with a more reasonable Lisa. That along with Lisa not defending herself very well. OTOH, I barely knew who Lisa was before watching CA and now I like her.

How totally rude that Trump brings up Lisa's lips. Latoya must have been shaking in her boots on that one considering her brother's "work" and I have to assume her own "work" as well.

I thought that was really personal and mean too! (Trump talking about Lisa's lips.) I hate when celebraties that I've really liked show their true personalities - I've never liked Starr Jones and this reminds me why - but Dionne Warwick? Man, who would have known she would be so insensitive and hard-headed.

Even though Lisa Rinna got fired - I'm now a fan.

I think his comment/discussion on Lisa's lips was totally out of line in that setting. And if he was going to go there, he had a whole bunch of people in front of him with some "changes" in their appearance. I think the most remarkable change was with Star and he said nothing.

You are probably correct. I thought I saw an exchange that signaled she was safe from Stars wrath though she did little to deserve a pass.

What I saw was not necessarily an alliance that LaToya had w/Star, et al but a fear of those in authority. She often gets this little scared rabbit look on her face when confronted by someone (she believes) higher up. I saw it in her reaction to the Eric Trump when he appeared at their work place last episode. Maybe the tabloids were right and Papa Jackson put a lot of fear into those kids and it still shows with her. Just guessing, of course.

Another woman bit the boardroom dust last night! I really thought that Gary was the one going, but he managed a win! Once more you can see Starr trying to take over, and the looks she gets on her face when she is not being listened to are priceless! I was surprised the show went on for 2 hours! Wasnt last week's just 1?

This show generally runs 2 hours. I pay attention to that because I usually hate 2 hour shows.
