I think that there was a gang up on Lisa from all the black women on the show. No question. Starr, Dionne, La Toya and Reality Chick.

Is this reverse racism? I think so. Someone needs to say this. Lisa did not do a great job - but she was not terrible.

The only other-than-black woman on the show willing to voice an opinion was Marlee. Could it be that she has faced other prejudices?

All of the other contestants were cowards and apparently unable to voice an opinion. What could this be a backlash of?

Geez, Star sure has packed the pounds back on, after all of her "willpower and self-discipline" talk several years ago. I'm curious to see how Trump will play on that, as he did with Rinna's lips. He's not above being crude enough to vocalize the obvious. (And, really, he just says out loud what we're all thinking in our heads.)

If Star is trying to project an image of control, discipline, and planning, her two-sizes-too-small wardrobe and second chin won't win her any points with Hefner-wannabe Trump.

Watching The Apprentice, whether celebrity or regular, makes me wonder:
Is it possible to be honest, caring, and gracious and still win a competition such as this? Or is it a prerequisite to be manipulative, dismissive, and cruel?

To be fair, I thought Brett Michaels was pretty good and didn't play nasty games to get to the end. I also think the second winner (whose name I can't remember at the moment) was a decent man too.

I really don't think you need to be nasty, I just think some people can't play nice. That doesn't have to say something about you tho.

Agreed - Bret didn't say a nasty thing about anyone. Star is just a big old bully and will hopefully be out soon.

I didn't see it as racism, per se. I saw it as Dionne being a nasty, ego-centric, mean old woman, with Star right there along side her... NeNe not having the balls to publicly say much of anything (private confessionals don't count in my book, if ya got something to say then say it) but going along with the mean girls and LaToya just being all about herself as usual. Dionne and Star just FEED each other... each being nasty for the sport of it and using the other to validate themselves. It just so happened that all four of them are black... I did not see it as black vs. white or racism but I can appreciate that someone else might see it that way.

I don't think the fact that the other women did not come to Lisa's defense was a backlash of anything... I think they were just spineless and/or looking to stay out of the fray. When confronted with a group of mean girls that has chosen it's target, most others will try to stay off their radar entirely. I see it as self-preservation in a way though in the end if you are around long enough the group of mean girls will target you. They tend to choose what they feel to be the easy prey.

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

    That is very true.
