It was still unfair for Curtis to have a position on the team with more people as he was on the losing side of things. One women should have been moved over with the men to make it fair.

"I fund raise morning, noon and night for families with autism. I call it creative begging."

She's not even new at it.

"the HollyRod Foundation. Formed in 1996 with the mission to help improve the quality of life for people plagued with devastating life circumstances."

    The Apprentice - NBC Site

Many stars have their own foundations. Celebrity Apprentice if it's going to have one celebrity with a foundation should level the playing field and have all of them with a foundation. (That might also lead to fewer early exits!)
Strawberry has his own foundation and he sucked. The foundation thing is no upper hand just because some may be more dedicated than others in their fundraising efforts.

Also, Cyndi is playing for her own charity as well, she just didn't find the need to have the charity carry her name.

Holly's a witch, but not a ringer. Her advantage was no larger than someone who is called upon for any task that caters to their strengths.

As for the donations, I also never heard an amount. I just don't feel it's an obligation to give the full amount they earned. Like I said before, it was all or nothing in the first task as well. That's what they sign up for on this show. Certainly the $24,000 would be fair, and a matching donation would be generous. Her team raised over $200k. That would have went to Sharon and Holly would have had no say. You just play hard for the win and hope you come out on top. She's working for her charity and when you're working for a cause and you played by the rules it's okay to take the money and run-no guilt attached. I hope she follows through with at least a $24,000 donation, hopefully $48,000. Anything more than that would be a pleasant surprise, however, anything at all should be appreciated since she was not obligated to give a dime.

    Bret Michaels Update 4/26/10
Once again we can't thank everyone enough for all the well wishes and prayers being sent Bret's way!

As of now Bret remains in ICU under 24 hour surveillance. Further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding.

Look for an official medical report from doctors this week at BretMichaels.com.

Please remember Bret is, and always has been, a fighter and survivor and is under the best medical care possible.

Thank you for your support, thoughts & concern!

Darryl Strawberry's Foundation is a joke, at least compared to the kind of money he could be raising. If you look at their annual tax reports (public record), they only raised about 100K last year. Obviously any money is helpful to the cause, but with his name, he could do a LOT more. I think his wife is the one truly committed to the cause and he just added his name to drum up more fundraising opportunities.

Although Holly might not be new at fundraising, raising money for a foundation is a yearlong process. I work as a grant writer for a school for kids with autism, and if we had to make calls similar to what Holly made ("Hey, we need $20,000...umm, in the next 12 hours"), people would laugh at us and hang up. It doesn't matter if you're a millionare or not. 20K is a lot of money.

Her tattling on Sharon was bitchy and uncalled for, but it's a game and that's her biggest threat. Everybody did a great job overall, but if Trump HAD to fire someone, Sharon would have been the obvious choice. They did well creatively, hence winning the 24K, so it would have to had to come down to fundraising. Sharon put that all on herself and lost.

I am also not impressed with Trump's $20,000 donation per challenge win. He's a billionaire.
I don't think he's a billionaire he's just likes to brag, isn't he in debt?

On the air, Holly did not state the amount she was going to give to Sharon's charity.

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

I agree with Trump. Nobody from Rock Solid deserved to go home based on their efforts this week. It is unfair that Sharon and Cyndi get to miss work and someone like Michael doesn't get that chance. Sharon was sick. I can understand why she got a pass. Cyndi doesn't seem to realize that Celebrity Apprentice is an actual commitment!

Well, since 1 of the times Cyndi was absent was due to her having to meet with Pres. Obama at the White House, I would think we can all cut her some slack. I know I sure as hel* can!!

Agreed. Meeting the President and working with the biggest singer in the country at the moment? Trump cut her some slack because she's one of the only people there who still has a working career

No she didn’t but there will be 2 charity segments on Sunday night, one for Holly and one for Sharon – so we’ll find out then. If there’s no Sharon segment then Holly was blowing smoke up Sharon’s bum.
