I did not catch Holly saying an amount, but I hope so because Sharon deserved it for winning part of the challenge.

Bonbon-- Just after the show they showed a picture of Bret and said that they wished him a speedy recovery-- or something to that effect. Didn't tell what was wrong with him, so if anyone hadn't heard I'm sure they were going,'' WHAT?!" It was nice they did something I thought. Love him or not-- Bret seems sincere on this show and always comes through with lots of good ideas.

She said she would cut a check to Sharon's charity for the amount that Sharon earned.

Thanks I am glad they did that.... heck If Omarosa were in Bret's position I would wish her a speedy recovery. Somehow when something like this happens it tends to bring out their inner child... and they need lots of support!
Okay I love FORT's casino, but I really am not very good. If anyone wants to donate their FORT $$ I would gladly accept http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forum....php?do=donate

I didn't realize until tonight (maybe I wasn't paying attention), that when Holly Robinson Peete said she was playing for her charity, it literally was for her charity! This show is one long informercial for her foundation.

That certainly beats the Real Housewives whose show is also one long infomercial (but for their minor businesses), but still, it seems a bit strange.

I could not believe after she'd already won the task, Peete still had enough residue bitchiness to trash Sharon saying she should go home because she had privately said she should go home. That was the worst moment of the season. (And this was right after she used her mock British accent to cut Sharon down another peg.)

I don't get why these millionaires become so excited over $20,000 donations. That's big to the average person (average US salary is about $40,000/year), but to millionaires it's pocket change. I am also not impressed with Trump's $20,000 donation per challenge win. He's a billionaire. What's 20K to a billionaire? It should be at least $100,000/episode!

Each of the WWE stars coughing up 10K each... come on?!

I thought the show was pretty crude this week, frankly. The coarse comments started and went on and on far too long.

The graphic design company was pretty lame not to catch Brett's typos.

P.S. Maria got no talking air time this week after getting lots before. I missed her comments.

That's what I heard as well although I do wonder if she meant from her own pocket or from the money that was raised.

I did not hear Holly say she'd cut a check in the amount of $131,000...I thought she just said something like "I am gonna personally cut a check to Sharon's charity". I felt she meant that she was simply going to make a donation of her own. She certainly isn't writing her own check for 130K!! And she cannot take that money from the winnings for her charity.

What she SHOULD have done was ask Trump if he could take the 24K from the total and give that to Sharon's charity, as they won that money fair and square.

I think someone with Tivo needs to check on that.

I don't think she said she'd cut a check for the amount Sharon earned. I think it was just a "I'll give to your charity personally" type thing, without an amount specified.

The implication was that she "felt guilty" (hogwash, what she felt was embarrassed, when she realized what a bitch she was coming off as). But it was also implied that it was a personal donation, and I'm SURE not for 131K (although I bet she'd be overjoyed if people assumed it was).

Holly is the ringer. Imagine if a contestant on Dancing With The Stars revealed, "Oh, yeah, and by the way, I have my own ballroom dance studio."

Not that NBC is hiding anything.

"I fund raise morning, noon and night for families with autism. I call it creative begging."

She's not even new at it.

"the HollyRod Foundation. Formed in 1996 with the mission to help improve the quality of life for people plagued with devastating life circumstances."

    The Apprentice - NBC Site

Many stars have their own foundations. Celebrity Apprentice if it's going to have one celebrity with a foundation should level the playing field and have all of them with a foundation. (That might also lead to fewer early exits!)

Sorry everyone, for jumping to conclusions in last week's discussion thread. Last week's previews did state that Maria and Sharon would be going to RockSolid, which led many of us to believe that the guys got an unfair advantage. Well, it turned out that Curtis was switching over also.

I don't know what to feel about the non-elimination. When I first watched the episode, I felt that Trump was showing his blatant favortism towards Sharon yet again. But after reading some posts in this thread, maybe it was right that no one was elimnated. I mean, look at how much was made!

Holly didn't say that she would write a check for the amount that RockSolid earned; she just said that she would personally write a check. I hope that check amounts the RockSolid's earned amount though.
