Did we ever hear what the diagnoses was on Bret's daughter?

Exactly. I was hoping that Holly would go because she's getting on my nerves, but I also genuinely think that it was her fault that they lost the task. Oh well.

I think Bret unfortunately will be leaving to look after his daughter. The symptoms are there and he said children of parents with T2D like him have a 50% chance of getting it. He said he won't stay on the show if the results come back and she indeed has it.

Holly Robinson Peete is fairly well educated. She attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York where she majored in psychology and French. Her language skills allowed her to spend a year in Paris, France to study at the Sorbonne.

She gets to use her psych degree to manipulate her competitors on TCA. Or did she also use it on George and Trump? How did she get them both to completely overlook her failures as Project Manager?

She's starting to remind me of Annie Duke. But I don't think she's any match for Sharon Osbourne. Remember when Sharon said she couldn't be funny if she tried; Peete had no retort.

If (read: when) Sharon and Cyndi gang up on Holly, she's toast. Cyndi's patience with Holly is wearing very thin already; it won't take much now to set her off. We'll get our Joann Rivers v. Annie Duke Catfight yet!

It would not surprise me if Brett walks either, with all that's going on with his daughter. I thought it was nice of him to complete this task but it would be understandable if he chose not to go any further. I hope he can finish.
I also hope Sharon can return. It's true that she has missed a lot of time and it would be unfair for her to return and for Michael to be unable to do so.
Holly is a pain. I love her cause and wanted her to have a shot at some money, but now that she had it and lost I wanted her gone. I've had more than enough of her attitude. Really, the "money can't buy this" moment of the season for me would be if Cyndi pulled a miracle out and won this thing.Wasn't likely to happen because Trump was saving the win for Sharon, however, if she is unable to return Cyndi looks like his number two choice. Some of those people are there just as filler and have no real shot at this. All they can hope for is a nice check along the way and a graceful exit.
    Thanks, KeepitReal.
I missed him mentioning the family member.

I agree that they're wanting Sharon to win this season, esp. since she'll be on an NBC show starting soon after this ends. Would love it if Cyndi did, though.

I am not a Michael fan, but I don't think it was right (fair) that he couldn't come back because "he would miss too much, someone would be fired" Heck, I have made that coast -to-coast trip without missing too many daylight hours. [granted I was going west to East and back] Didn't Michael say he had to go to SF? He probably could have gone to this boardroom, taken 7AM flight to SF, dealt with "it" when he landed, and taken a return flight back to NY.... been back at the latest by 7AM tomorrow. Probably could have even worked some on the next task...

It looked to me like Michael wanted "off" the show.

Michael did not state HOW LONG he would need to be gone. At least they didn't air that part. I suspect he said it to Donald and they realized being gone for a week (or whatever) would be two challenges at least and too long. Perhaps Michael was unable to commit to WHEN he would be back and that is just unacceptable. Truthfully, Sharon has been sick a LOT but only missed one FULL challenge.

Maria didn't throw Selita under the bus... (just like earlier in the season, maybe ep1 or 2?) Maria spoke her mind unlike the other mealy-mouthed lame-brains who refuse to answer. An executive like Trump (incl. George, Don Jr and Ivanka) has more respect for someone who will answer the question directly as opposed to someone who just can't hike up the big-girl (or big-boy) panties and take care of business. Maria gave Holly and the rest of the team more than one chance to review the edit and no one... NO ONE... came to look. Including Holly who, IMO, sucks as a team leader. She's not a team player even, she's a one woman show (and a bad one at that).

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

Trump is going to have a difficult time firing Cyndi. She is easily the nicest and most publicly loved personality he has ever had on this show, and firing her without really good reason will hurt him and his show, which is already seriously falling in the rating. Even with Summer, Holly, and Selita being awful to Cyndi, she has refused to name anyone in the boardroom or point any fingers at all. The only way Cyndi leaves is if she quits or she really screws up so so so badly that Trump has no choice but to fire her.

Marlena ... I agree. Holly has wanted to off Cyndi for weeks and wouldn't let it go until Trumpster finally spelled it out "She's not going this week, pick someone else." Maria was shown asking others to come and look at the commercial and no one moved. Holly should have, since she's PM. For her to put that on Maria's shoulders after refusing to check it out was slimy.

I'm ready for Sharon and Cyndi to take Holly out. Never heard of her before, and don't care to after next week. She did get her feathers ruffled when Trumpster asked Cyndi to sing the song instead of her. I was quite amused.

I think whatever was going on with Michael was definitely going to take more time than just one task. I hope his family is fine.

The ones who noone knows who you are, and you are asked knowing you will desperately sign on for anything, and you may be lucky to win money for your charity before Donald and company will make up a lame excuse to fire you in the place of one of the two forementioned categories.
I agree that Trump likes to have bigger names stay around longer if possible, but it seems to me that the show can't be that well planned out in advance just based on past seasons. Gene Simmons leaving so early in his season certainly wasn't what Trump wanted. I think he left just because he was pissed off at Kodak not picking his ad campaign. I'm sure Trump would have liked to keep him til the end. And Pierce winning the whole thing doesn't seem like something that would have been planned out ahead of time since he was pretty much an unknown in the States. Same with Annie sticking around til the end. It seems like a lot of it has to be decided as the show is going along and they see where the most drama is popping up. I would say both Annie and Pierce fall into the category of very few to no one knowing who they are and they still made it to the end.
