If Bret did in fact make it to the end, I wonder how that will play out now. It sounds as if he is doing better, so that is a great thing- poor guy. I didn't expect to like him going in, but I actually like him very much. I wish him well.

I wish Brett all the best and am saying prayers for he and his family.
Same here. I was pleasantly surprised by him. I guess my preconceived notions were very wrong.

All the best to Brett and his family....

I never was a fan of him or his band, but what I have seen in interviews etc... has been positive.

If his TV persona is any indication, it's clear that women are his big vice, and he likes to have a good time, but I have also heard that Bret keeps a very heavy tour schedule and is a hardworking guy. I hope these health scares result in him looking after himself, if for no other reason that for the sake of his daughters. Thank you jucamer for posting the positive news from his father. I'm hopeful he will make a full and speedy recovery.
I don' think he would still be having a career and be well liked if he weren't a hard working guy. Look at how many other 80s and 90s musicians faded into obscurity or fell on hard times. The guy is on the news, on tv and seems that people like him. I give him credit, he isn't perfect, but seems a decent enough guy who knows what he wants to do. Look at how many stars just sink lower and lower (LL) and here is this guy, Mr. Party, working with Donald Trump!

    From Bret's website:

There are several incorrect reports on Bret's condition.
Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days.

Thanks for the update. This is the first place I came to after hearing the news, and it has been comforting to know so many people are pulling for him. He seems like a really decent guy.

Bleeding in the brainstem, which is what has been reported that he is doing, is not even slightly a good thing. Your basic functions (breathing and heart rate) are regulated from the brainstem. I really find it hard to believe that he is doing as well as they are saying. Diabetes is such a vicious bastard. I sure hope he's as good as they say.

proshay... there have been many conflicting reports. But his official site says that many of the reports are wrong... he is still in critical condition. Lets keep up the prayers.

Re: Bret Michaels - Season 3

From Bret's Web site Sunday morning:

Everyone at Michaels Entertainment would like to thank all fans and friends for their continued thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

At this point Bret remains in ICU in critical condition. He is under 24 hour doctors care and supervision. We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located. As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal
