    Yay Bret!

That's what I heard too! His doctors are having a press conference tomorrow morning - I'm hoping it's true - it would be a real miracle!

    I'm hoping, as well.
All the DRs. have been saying how strong his will to live is.
That's a very big factor in anyone's rehabilitation.

Sounds like he's been released and is expected to fully recover. He does, however, require a lot of rest and it seems that his walk still needs to improve. Terrific news for Bret and his many fans!

Impressive! Did they say if he was released to home or to a rehab facility?

The Dr said Bret didn't want that info given out. The media would probably bombard the rehab facility or his home (wherever he may be) - you know how they are..

But he's going to be alright!!!!

    That is wonderful news.
I wasn't a fan of Bret's before his stint on this show. I didn't dislike him, didn't have an opinion on him one way or another really.
If he hadn't been on this show I'd have been shocked at what happened and thought it very sad as I know he's still a young bloke with young children.
After seeing him on this show I've really warmed to him.
He just seems like a really nice guy.

I was impressed with his performance this week.
I thought the plumber's crack joke was fine, not too risky and not making fun of plumbers, just a little cheeky (excuse the pun).
I love his enthusiasm about everything and the fact he doesn't shy away from putting himself in the firing line.

I really liked the sound of his voice on those commercials too.
He'd be great voicing a character for an animated movie.

I am thrilled for Bret & his family. I like the guy and his illness hit home for me, being that I'm close to his age and have daughters around the same age as his. I love his positive energy and I'm sure that must have a lot to do with his ability to rally from such a devastating medical incident. It would be great to see him at the finale - maybe if he can't actually be there but he's up to being on camera, they can do it via satellite or Skype or whatever.

I'm so thrilled at this news! He and his family have been in my prayers.

I also didn't know much of anything about Bret before Celebrity Apprentice. I knew he was in Poison, but the extent of my knowledge of that band is the "Every Rose..." song. Knew he was on Rock of Love on VH1, but never saw it. Yet he is hands down my favorite contestant on this show! Really hard worker, really creative, and doesn't shy away from responsibility. Seems like a total sweetheart too. Love him! Hope he wins the whole thing, and, more importantly, recovers fully.
