I too love the strikethrough. Wish I could...there is a reason my brother refers to me simply as "book smart". though.

I love the expletive lite. When I first moved to Finland I met someone who had been in NY several years earlier with Nokia. He had studied English (english english) in school, and half jokingly told me that in NY, he had come to believe that all question predicates for NYers were three words: question word, article and, using your phrasing, expletive non-lite.

Except that we all know, because Annie tried so hard on so many occasions to let it be known, that she still had tremendous respect for Joan. So why not accept the hug of somoene she respects, putting the hate aside? (yes, there's some saracasm inserted there)

Respect, yes, like, no. Everyone is different, but I actually have to like someone before I'll allow them to drape themselves all over me.

That's what I love about New York - I feel quite at home there .

I'm glad I broke down and came to the board to see the results before I wasted 3 hours of my life watching this farce. Ah come on, who really believes that Donald would hire Joan before Annie to run any of his businesses. Obviously the fix was in. My guess is that he promised Joan the win to get her to come back because she really was going to quit the show as soon as her daughter wasn't on it anymore.

If it were real life, It hink it would depend on which business it was to determine which he'd hire. If it were one of his casinos, he'd take Annie. If it were a product line, Joan. And the two women have proven in their real life careers that they're worthy of each.

The suite is just a suite on the same floor as the boardroom -- not their living quarters. So filming was done, and Joan left at the same time as Melissa. That's not quitting - that's a dramatic but routine exit. I go home each day from my office when my work is done ... my boss doesn't consider me to be quitting each day.
Thank you for stating that clearly. I wanted to but it got jumbled up and accusatory so I did not post it.

And another thing...every day in our building, someone says they are "leaving and not coming back" and every day they come back.

Joan was VENTING we all do that from time to time

It truly was a monumental waste of time. You are lucky to be spared.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

How in any way could they be thought of as not getting all the positives here?
You make a good point and I stand corrected.

But if CA were a real business, most everyone on the show would have been fired by that point. Perhaps the only people still around would be Tionne and Khloe, because they just kept focused on the work. So if Joan's boardroom behavior would be a problem in real life, so would Annie's blow job comment while on the job, Brande blowing off work at the model shop to flirt with the workers in a challenge, Dennis and Tom drinking on the job, Jesse blowing off a task because he didn't agree with the teams direction, etc etc etc. Oh, and Trump would also be fired for too many wrongful termination suits. So why would we apply the rules ofthe real world to ONE contestant, but not the others?
I agree Veruka. This was all about entertainment.

Agree 100%. It was the biggest waste of a season, this show. What one (Joan) was allowed to get away with, while Annie clearly had the better business head.

The last person in my office that threw a Kniption fit and stomped off never got the chance to change their mind. Management cited them for Job Abandonment took their shouts of quitting and happily cut them a check and had their Cubicle personal items waiting for them upon return.
