Joan is funny, vulgur (at times) but generally funny. I wasn't surprised she had the reaction to Melissa's firing. I thought it was part show, part passion. I have a feeling Joan will come back, if nothing else but to stick it to Brande and Annie

I believe the point she was trying to make was that Brande does not have a brain and that her breast do all her thinking (and counting) for her. And that is comedy gold .

My take: Joan was inferring that Brande may profess to be smart, but that her career has been advanced by her looks, rather than her intelligence. As in, "she's so smart that both of her breasts can count to 10." In other words, she's not smart, but she had the assets she needed for what her career demanded.

Of course, Joan will be back. She loves to be seen and will always make an appearance when asked and when paid. Yes, she is a good businesswoman. I loved her comedy years ago, but I haven't for a number of years now.

For me, her vicious attacks are not funny. I know I've said it before, but for one Jewish person to call another Jewish person a Hitler and a Nazi is unfathomable. Her earlier attack on Clint when she vowed to destroy all of his CD's was also outrageous and uncalled for.

I've given her the benefit of the doubt until now because I see a lot of ageism around and I try to admire those of my elders who have contributed so much, but I'm done with Joan Rivers now.

I agree in that I believe that is what she was infering, however, only 10? That's not a very high number and therefore, her breasts are not very smart at all. The joke falls flat because of the small number. Perhaps if she'd said her breasts can do calculus, it may have been funny. Not much of a joke anyway, IMO.

The whole reason Joan is hawking jewlery is because her act is stale. Joan once mention something about " Dennis living in the past" well Joan is also. The only people who get her sthick now are those one named people in Vegas she accuses Annie of getting Blood money from.

It wasn't just that it was a close task. The problem that the Right Guard execs had with Athena's team was the photography and the layout--the two things (pretty much the only two things) Annie didn't do.

So for those who say Annie should've gone home, what's your answer to that?

I've seen her stand up, I've read (partially, anyway - unpleasant piece of garbage that it was) one of her books, I've been quite familiar with her work since sometime in the 1970s and she has never stopped disgusting me. Her behaviour on this show can't, as far as I'm concerned be attributed to being old and crotchety because she has always been an ill-natured harpy.

And, besides that Mrs. Lincoln how was the play?
