Id like to see Joan fired too, if she returns. I HOPE Trump doesn't baby her, and allow her to come back. She left on her own accord, so she can stay away as far as Im concerned. She and her daughter both are nasty and vindictive. As this season has gone on and on, I have wanted Annie to win more than EVER.

I have never liked Joan or ME-lissa but as the season has gone one, I have hated Annie the user/dictator even more.

Actually most of the "stars" on this edition have some really nasty attitudes

I never would have expected Clint Black to be such a jerk

Tom whats his name was horrbile too same with Andrew Dice Clay

Rodman...you knew what to expect, and he wasn't a jerk, just drunk too much

I just rewatched the boardroom firing and Joan's reaction back at the apartment. Neither Brande nor Annie said anything negative about Melissa. They did point out they were the top two fundraisers, but Trump could choose to take that into account or not. I could make a case for firing each of them. But it's Trump's decision and we've seen him make decisions that didn't have anything or much to do with the task in the past.

I find it odd that Joan spewed such venom at Annie and Brande when, IMO, it more logically should have been directed at Trump. Apparently, in Joan's view, Annie and Brande were supposed to have either pointed fingers at each other or told Trump that they were responsible for the loss and should be sent home.

I'm left feeling sorry for Melissa (though she's a grown woman and can take responsibility for herself now). Joan seems so quick to anger and lash out at people that I can't help but think that anger like that has been directed at Melissa over the years.

I don't mind the occasional jab at someone else's expense, but listening to endless hours about how fat someone else is, or what a slut someone else is, or how poorly dressed someone else is - I just don't get the appeal. People bring up her paving way for other female comics, but I can think of, right off the top of my head, two of her contemporaries who did and have done well, bring the funny, and don't bring the hateful. Lily Tomlin and Carol Burnett. Lily I admire but am not a particular fan of, but Carol Burnett? She leaves Rivers in the dust and doesn't have to be a bitch to do it.

IMO it's not a good comparison beteen Joan and Carol Burnett--Carol is a sketch comedian and Joan does standup.

Two very differentg kinds of talents and perhaps different kinds of personalities.

With sketch comedy someone else often writes the material and you just perform it.

With stand up the comedian often writes her own material.

And Joan is very very good at what she does.

And highly successful. Whether you--anyone--likes her style of comedy is of course highly personal.

Not to pick, but by your own standards, Lily Tomlin is also a sketch comedian and the comparison isn't fair either. I'm just saying....

Carol Burnett wrote a lot of her own material, plus she had the cojones to get her own network show in a male dominated field.

Lily Tomlin did essentially do stand-up, albeit stand-up with themes, and also got herself on network television in a male dominated field.

They both paved the way for women in comedy whether it be sketch or stand-up.

Both of them did it without being douchebags. Joan didn't.

Whatever respect I may have had for Joan Rivers is now completely gone. The insults and epithets she hurled at Annie throughout the season have gone completely beyond the pale. And, as if that weren't enough, she managed to insult an entire group of people (poker players) in the process. Although I'm no fan of Annie, I hope she crushes the troll Joan!

Annie relies--when you get right down to it--on intimidation--especially of women.
She can't intimidate Joan--so she just kind of clams up when Joan goes after her.

IMO Annie is not as "strong" as she wants us to believe--her touting her "strength" constantly is all part of her self-created persona.

And where Annie talks strength-Joan actually IS strong to have survived and thrived for so many years.

    My money's on Joan.
I agree steppemaster. Here's hoping Joan is able to conquer in the end!! Just what does the winner of Celebrity Apprentice win, just money for their charity or do they actually get a job in Trump's organization?????
