I hate how Annie says she has never said a bad thing about anybody in the board room or attacked their character but when she does the one on one interviews she rips them apart, that is being two faced and a snake and that is totally what she is.
I see her winning as I'm sure she'll bring in the more money (which is the only thing Trump cares about) by offering her "special talent" to all her poker male buddies if she hasn't already used up that resort.

Nope, I despised Piers last season and I have been annoyed beyond words that he was back on my screen this time around as well. The only contestant this season who came off as being smart, savvy, level-headed, and hardworking was Jesse James. He didn't try to manipulate anyone or "game-play", and he has my everlasting respect for telling Trump that his only motivation for being a part of the show was to prove that a blue-collar guy who came from nothing is as capable as any of the others. He's not a "nice" guy and didn't pretend to be, and it's Annie's pretending that grates on me the most. I can't admire someone whose main talent is manipulation and the ability to deceive, which is exactly what poker-playing is all about. "Viper" was a pretty apt description of her - Joan may have faults but she can read this chick perfectly.

I wouldn't compare Annie to Trump, either...but I'd compare Trump to Joan. Both have had huge success in their careers, they've also had rock-bottom lows, and both have become caricature-like in recent years. Not to mention that they're both equally graceless in their manners. And like it or not...they've both achieved fame that Annie Duke has no hope of achieving. That goes for Piers Morgan, too.

Annie isn't trying to be an A-list celebrity. She knows that she's just a poker player, it's brought her millions of dollars, and she's fine with that. I would be genuinely shocked if she appeared on another reality show after this, apart from maybe a guest spot on the next season of Celebrity Apprentice.

The purpose of this show is to earn money for your charities - Annie has done that far better than any other of the celebs and I have NO qualms about what she did or said to get that money, just as I didn't care how Piers did it either - it only mattered that they did.

anyone who has ever watched any season (regular or celeb) knows it's not about being nice, it's about what you do to get there. Unless Annie murders someone in the finale she deserves the win.

I'd like to know what it is Joan did to deserve being in the F2....anyone?

Once again, lets talks about the concept of "extreme provocation". If Annie was a saint, she might be able to take being insulted and compared to mass murders for weeks on end and not get upset enough to FINALLY eventually mouth off back in return. But I guess she's not a saint.

As for the implication that she trades sexual favors for money? I gotta wonder if Joan is writing some of these replies and forwarding them to you. :nono I mean I really don't care THAT much about Annie being insulted like that--she's nothing to me--but it seems like a heck of a low place to go, criticism-wise. And honestly, I just don't get it. What is it about Annie that's so threatening that makes some viewers get this hot under the collar about her? That's she's arrogant? That's basis to not like her, sure, and certainly to wane sarcastic about her. But there are people in my life I genuinely HATE, in a personal sense, that I don't lob the apparent level of venom Annie is getting from anonymous strangers. I have to admit, I don't get it.

Gasp! You mean she knows she's a Nazi? A crook? A killer of small children?

None of these celebrities are doing this show for altruistic reasons. If they were that enamoured of their chosen charities and wanted them to have some money, they'd write a cheque. Trump tries to legitimize his continued presence on reality TV by claiming it's all about charity, that's all.

Annie hasn't generated as much dislike as Piers did last season, IMO, and she sure hasn't reached the level of Survivor's Coach. There are always reality show contestants that people love to hate - Yahoo has a "most questionable" list that was posted in the Survivor forum. It's hardly necessary to be a *Nazi* for viewers to dislike a reality contestant. Anyway, Annie didn't even rate the list, and for that matter, neither did Joan - Clint Black took the CA spot. My opinion of her is that she's a snake and the only credit I'll give her is that blog entry, which is so masterfully manipulative you can barely see the false humility lurking behind it. She's just another example of a person who's famous for no good reason and I certainly hope that her reality career ends with this show.

How is it arrogant if she is winning all the time. The woman says what she is going to do, does it and has the winning on the show to prove it. I don't think there is anyone else that has won as many tasks as Annie has. Annie just wins baby nothing arrogant about that,

Famous for no good reason? That's open to interpretation. I'm sure there are thousands of poker fans who would think otherwise. Me not being one of them, but I still think she is most deserving of the finale win.

This isn't Annie's first show.. I recall she was on that Mob game show. Annie is famous in her circle.. I for one know who she is (and love her). She has earned her status. Omorosa is someone who is famous for no good reason, not Annie.

I dont think this is it for her.. she is passionate about her cause and she has promoted it for a while now.
