I am so sad that Gene is gone (though I'm sure Rattus is thrilled! )...

With Gene gone..who is going to make me laugh now? Like dagwood said...at least we still have eye candy with Trace and Lennox.....

I like Gene but sometimes you do have to go and meet with the suits. I go to meeting weekly and frankly most of them are useless to me. I go I listen if something of value is discussed I use it. Gene needs to learn that lesson.

My goodness in the Corporate world we have meeting just to decide on one or two ply toilet paper,lol. Go to the meeting and do your job. Nely didn't listen she just interrupted and suits get angry when you don't listen to their jibberish ,lol. If I was Gene I would served Nely up to the Donald like a pig at a Luau.

Color me surprised. I did not think Trump would be willing to fire Gene OR Omarosa, given that they account for nearly all of the drama on the show. I don't care for Gene, but he made the show at least a tad interesting. I have only been watching half-heartedly, I'm not sure I'll bother watching at all now. I have to agree that Gene must have wanted out - he made it nearly impossible for Trump to fire anyone but him.

Trump wasn't and Gene knew that. Gene has had his own reality shows in the past and he is an independent thinker. I felt like he was challening Omarosa and Trump and seeing if he could survive. He wanted a showdown with him and Omarosa and if he got fired, he didn't really care.

But Trump had told him before they went into the final Boardroom that Omarossa did nothing for which she could be fired... Gene just wanted out...and on that note, I think he could have don't it with much more class. Sticking to his mantra that Kodak was wrong, and he was right was not the best angle. I would have liked to have seen him talk to the girls and tell him he was going to fall on his sword for them because he was PM...

Yes, yes I am . Though I do wish it had been a more clear-cut "he's a loser, he's got to go" sort of firing.

This season is even better than I expected it to be. I really wanted to see Gene vs. Omarosa in the board room, it would have been great.

Trump was the most disappointed to fire Gene, to be sure. He did not like being played.

Piers will offer plenty of entertainment. Love this guy.

Omarosa is being a very good girl. I anticipated this. She wants to stick around for face time and possible connections.

I wouldn't be surprised to see more "stars" step up and be willing to be fired, probably not as blatant as Gene but sabotage themselves in some way. I don't know how long the taping takes but these people are out of their lives and working at unpleasant tasks. The shine will wear off, for all of them, before this wraps.

My opinion of this show - stinky, stinky, stinky. Just can't get into it at all. I like the regular Joes and Jills and how they interact and perform in the tasks. Bring back Apprentice the way it used to be. This is just yuck.
