I thought it was Omarosa and Troy who made it so successful. I didn't watch from the beginning of season 1, but once I saw Troy outsmart that chick in the real estate challenge, I was hooked!!

I definitely agree that Troy played a big role in TA's success. (I especially was a fan of Troy and Kwame's friendship.) But Sam, even though he was voted out fairly early, was creating a buzz with his antics before Omarosa had even gotten warmed up. That's what I meant when I said that Trump owes Sam and O the credit for the show's success, because they were so off the wall that people were tuning in just to see them. But, actually, it was really ALL the candidates that made that season successful, because they were all bright, smart, interesting people, who were all loaded with plenty of attitude, so it really was a can't lose situation.
