I just read this on yahoo i cant believe it i am SO beyond shocked! Carolyn is my inspiration and the reason why i took business she's mailed me a couple of times and ive talked to her on the phone once aswell she is so inspiring and talented ,donald trump just doesnt like the fact that so much media attention was given to her.
I am sure she'll get a better job in some multinational firm and i wish her all the best
Those who think sunshine brings happiness have never danced in the rain!
The article about Carolyn said that she already wouldn't be part of season 6 even before she was fired. I'd like to know more about the reports that she wasnt't doing her job, she has no obligations outside her work hours. While she's working though she shouldn't be giving speeches all over the country.
Does Bill Rancic still work for Trump? I'd be curious to know how his doing speaking engagements, etc to promote himself / Trump is seen as different in the Trump organization from Carolyn doing the same on a smaller scale.
I heard this morning that Carolyn's reps are floating her name as a possible candidate to adution for The View - that may lend some support to the claims that she was becoming more concerned with stardom than with work.
Maybe NBC could consider The Apprentice Carolyn Kepcher.
Carolyn also has two young children. Maybe she had long work hours and felt she was missing time with her kids. If changing her lifestyle allows her some more family time, there's nothing wrong with that. And if she wants to pursue her 15 minutes by doing speeches and possibly being on a talk show, there's nothing wrong with that either. People get bored with their jobs and lives and stuck in a rut. Sometimes we have to change things up.
DT firing her was probably the best thing to happen to her if she was slacking in the job. Sometimes people are afraid to take the leap into other ventures. She was testing the waters without quitting her job but since DT fired her, now she has that push she needed. I don't condone not giving your job 100% while pursuing outside interests but maybe she was burned out and didn't care anymore.
We never hear how any of the winners are doing. At least I haven't. Anyone know how all the past winners are doing and if they still work for Trump?
I didn't watch any of The Apprentice last year and the year before I was only a sometimes viewer, but I have to say, DT using his son and daughter as his eyes and ears on the ground during the challenges is just stupid. George and Carolyn had credibilty because they worked their way to where they were, they weren't there because of who their daddy is.
DT was made bacause Carolyn was ambitious and looking out for herself. Isn't that what he is? And isn't that what he tries to impart on the contestants on his show? I'd say Carolyn is better off without DT and TA will be gone after the next installment, but DT will blame someone else rather than himself for the demise of the show. After all, success is all his, failure is someone else's.

Carolyn Kepcher of 'Apprentice' fame helps judge best small-biz idea

NEW YORK - Carolyn Kepcher, who helped Donald Trump fire corporate wannabes on “The Apprentice” television show, took a new role Tuesday — helping Microsoft Corp. find the best small-business idea in America.
“It takes a big idea to create a big business,” Kepcher said. “And I’ve seen some ideas before.”
The winner of the Redmond, Wash.-based company’s "Ultimate Challenge” contest will get $100,000 in seed money, a storefront or other space in Manhattan for a year rent-free, and software to help get their business started.
(MSNBC.com is a joint venture of Microsoft and NBC Universal News.)
Kepcher and fellow judges — maternity wear entrepreneur Liz Lange and Chris Caposella, a Microsoft vice president — began hearing ideas Tuesday in a computer-equipped recreational vehicle parked in midtown Manhattan.
Dozens of people waited in line for a chance to make their pitch.
Mary Miller, 38, a New Jersey municipal judge, won smiles from the judges with her idea for cafes for harried parents that would offer child care alongside cappuccinos. The cafes would be called Just Give Me a Minute.
“As a mom, I like it,” Lange said.
Kepcher, Lange and Caposella eventually will pick four finalists. The winner will be chosen after another round of judging and by votes from the public.
Contestants can submit their ideas through a Web site or in person. The Microsoft-mobile will be making stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver and Las Vegas.
Submissions are due at midnight Jan. 31 and will be judged on marketing approach, financial and logistic feasibility, originality and public interest.
Microsoft is using the competition to promote a new version of its Microsoft Office Accounting software and services for small businesses.
In addition to running upscale golf clubs for Trump, Kepcher appeared with Trump and real estate lawyer George Ross on “The Apprentice.” They would confer before deciding which corporate aspirant seeking a full-time job with Trump would be “fired.”
Kepcher and Trump parted ways last July, with Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, replacing her on the NBC show.
