Q&A:
What was your very first job?
Plonger (or dishwasher). Determined to travel around the world before I went to university, my first port of call was the French Alps. Two months of dishwashing allowed me to ski every day and generally keep me afloat until the winter Olympics came to town. At which point I was able to get a far more comfortable job escorting VIP's around the village. It was an amazing experience (the skiing that is — not washing dishes).
Who convinced you to try out for The Apprentice and why?
Many of my friends had suggested it in the past, however, it was my colleague, Amy, who really persuaded me to apply. The night before the audition she emailed me the application form, the time and place for the casting and then proceeded to demand that I not come into the office until I had an Apprentice wristband to prove I went. Thank you, Amy.
What did you quit/leave/sacrifice to join The Apprentice?
I'm a Business Development Director for a Wireless Telecoms Consultancy. I'm fortunate to have a very supportive President.
Why do you want to work for Mr. Trump?
Who better from which to learn the art of the deal.
What have you learned from watching previous seasons of The Apprentice? Have any previous candidates motivated or inspired you?
It's near impossible to strategize. To win I intend to incorporate Kwame's demeanor, Troy's salesmanship and Bill's ability to get on with people. If I can integrate all three I'll be in with a very good chance.
What's your definition of success?
Reaching (or beating) goals. You must continually set KPI's (key performance indicators) to measure your own performance and drive yourself to the next stage. But be sure to have fun on the way.
How would you describe your leadership style?
Different situations require different approaches and skills. What works in one situation can be disastrous in another. I generally encourage individuals to personally excel so that they have an opportunity to learn and develop. However, leading so many talented individuals on the show will require a little more management of egos.
How do you deal with challenges within a group dynamic?
Diplomatically. Negotiate, mediate and manipulate.
How do you balance creativity and business?
For me they're often one and the same. The solutions I devise for my clients are often both creative and bespoke. It's this attention to detail that differentiates me from the competition.
What is your philosophy on business?
Love what you do.
Your favorite (famous) quote?
"I don't make deals for the money. I've got enough, much more than I'll ever need. I do it to do it." Donald Trump (1987)
Why should you be the next Apprentice?
Since graduating from university, valedictorian, I've had 9-years international experience of negotiating and selling bespoke solutions to the world's largest telecommunication vendors and operators. My drive, natural flair for negotiation and innate ability to get on with people will separate me from the rest of the interviewees.

Top 5 companies to keep an eye on (stock picks)
It's challenging to give advice on particular stocks as dynamics change so rapidly. I'd therefore suggest a diversification of investment across the QQQ and the BBH indexes. Tech stocks in particular, i.e. Nasdaq's QQQ, will continue to grow strongly for the foreseeable future.
