Can someone explain to me about *winning the car* deal? Did Trump expect the team to get someone to donate a car to win? Or was he just using the *you give away a car, not a weekend rental* to show them how stupid the idea was?

i think winning a car would be a great idea-however when kat/amy found out it wasn't possible, i think they should have left right then and come up with another idea

i think money always works best---especially in a casino

Good call on the Penthouse giveaway We could add the car rental and that would be a nice package.

How about "every $50 you spend in the gambling floor entitles you to a chance to win $1,000" (or it could be every $20, since there would only be one winner anyway, but at least some people would get multiple chances/tickets) so that might give them incentive to spend more.

Who knows what I would have come up with as a gimmick.. but the first thing I thought (not sure how feasible it would be) was to have a Poker Competition. Every player pays XXX amount of money for a chance to win XXX amount of money...
that way the team has the entry $$ and what is being gambled as well.

In addition to that, I would have gone around (along with those women I recruited) and offered to enroll people already gambling. Tell them about the car rental, fill out the entry form for them, issue a card for them and bring it back to their gambling table/slot machine. That way, they aren't stopping gambling and they appreciate that YOU did all the enrolling for them.

    I'd of won.

I dont think it was the prize that mattered, because they had more people sign up than Troy's group.

The reason they lost was because they didnt get the people from the penthouse suite.

I think that Troy's groups prize had a bigger downfall, you had to wait in line. Not many people want to wait on line to possibly win a prize, while you can just fill out a raffle ticket and possibly win the car rental.

I think I would had a drawing for a private dinner for two, with THE DONALD, as the prize, at the best table in the place.
Target the VIPS's at the limo drop-off point/Boardwalk enterance
Two showgirls and one showguy, in costume signing them up as they arrive.

(not to demean them, they could have dressed themselves in the costumes if they wanted)

Bingo. The line was ridiculous. Who gets in a line to possibly win money--- that is even if you can land on the 1,000 dollars space.

Katrina should have been sent to whore the rich people.

I think the Penthouse idea is a great one.

I always thought dumb garden variety things like free t-shirts and gift certificates and stuff worked nicely for promotions, just to get people to sign up for a card, and I wonder why they don't do stuff like that more on this show.
