    Inquiry

I think the Apprentice is a great show with lots of variety to start, but I don't it will last too long unless they change the way the game is played.

It was obvious that Trump himself had a huge "say-so" by teaming based on gender, and watching the men get stomped, realizing that it was a huge mistake to start out this way and then changing it mid-way through the season.

I bet next season they may start out where a team captain picks based on the contestant's vitae. Like a recruting process...See now that would be cool.

Of course he changed it mid-way. One group was smaller than the other.

I don't think anyone (not Mark Burnett, nor Donald Trump) could have predicted that the men would have lost so incredibly badly for the first four shows.

I am sure they were expecting the women to use their "sex-appeal" to win a few challenges, but not ALL of the challenges!

There were definitely challenges that the men could have, and should have, won despite their lack of T&A.

I doubt they will go with the gender-divide again, next year. One of the positives about this divide, though, is that the viewers can immediately distinguish the teams from the get-go and we can learn about the individuals and teams more easily.

I felt the women outplayed the men from day one. They had some smart girls on that team. With one or two exceptions, they worked pretty well together too.

When it was women against men the women most definately did outplay the men. Yeah, sex was a big part of it, but they also just took more risks and did less stupid stuff. The one dude (forget his name) didn't think he needed to talk to the executive jet client before designing an ad campaign for the company.... WTF????? I'm a business undergrad student on the 15 year degree plan and even I know better than that.

Burnett usually has all challenges and merges planned in advance. I wouldn't be surprised if he had not intended to mix up the teams at that point anyway.

As learned in Survivor Amazon, it is a great way to kick off a competition, and get rivalries (good for entertainment) started, but eventually you have to mix things up.

Yeah the men played pretty poorly in the beginning. They lost like what?, 4 times in a row or something before it was obvious they needed some help. Those men should have seen it coming that the women had somewhat of an advantage-being attractive women (well some of them anyway) - and that's when they should have been doing a little more than "step up to the plate".

What I marvel at is how poorly the men did in segregated teams, and how poorly the women have been doing in integrated teams.

I hope next season, the teams start off as mixed; men and women on the same team.
