    Question about pedicab episode

    Been meaning to ask this.

In the pedicab/ricksha episode, when Protege' was in the board room, I think it was Troy who was explaining to Trump that they had decided to sell prepaid punch cards. I remember Trump looking at George and frowning, then he looked over at Carolyn ......both George and Carolyn had a thinly veiled "you gotta be kidding me" looks. I looked at the tape again recently and saw it.

My question is: was there something wrong with that idea? I'm no pedicab expert, but I didn't think the prepaid cards were a bad idea (like monthly bus passes).

I don't think people use the rickshaw as a way to get around like the subway or the bus... I think it's more like a novelty thing... most people wouldn't buy more than one ride on a rickshaw, it's more for tourists and the like.

Thanks. Guess it never occurred to me. I remember when Troy and Kwame were printing the cards I didn't think the cards were a bad idea. But now that you explained it, you're right....I would not look around for ot take a pedicab on a regula rbasis, either. Then there is the weather....rain, etc. Mostly though, it's a novelty thing.
