Amy had a brilliant idea, and Bill seemed to implement it well, and I was impessed that they used old contacts from previous weeks to sell advertising to. However, I think Bill telling Nick to try to give no refund was a little unethical.

As for Troy, I like him alot, but I don't think he is necessarily right for the CEO job. I don't know if he thinks far enough in advance. In both this and the water task he came up with a way to sell more on that particular day, but not necessarily in the long run. While it is probable that people will lose their "punchcards" and the pedicab company will make money off of that, he hasn't really come up with a new idea, he is just selling in bulk. Also the compensation plan for the employees, was the same as Bill's during the Planet Hollywood task. I think Troy is nice, and works well with his teammates, but I don't think he will win.

nick's got a smell of 'sales' about him. bill i think is a good right hand man. troy i think would be an amazing ceo. he knows how to communicate with people and people are receptive to his leadership. he's humbling. he doesn't have that astutute corporate demeanor maybe attributed to his working environment in the south. who said that you need a grad degree to be a ceo? troy may just prove us wrong.

yeah kat was just purring last night. how could she take anything business as personal? talk about disrespectful she was undermining bill and poor bill's just allowing her to scratch him all over. she's skating on very thin ice this kitty. the editing was priceless. she really thought bill was gonna choke. instead she was chiking on her own fur balls.

this was episode was so-so, as much as i hated sam/O etc, they at least made the show really interesting lol.

nick is a yesman-and a major ass kisser-he might get the job because of that-and nick can make good decisions-but i think his problem is he's a better business man solo, or when he's in charge and calls all the shots-notice how when he's not PM he pouts and refuses to do whatever because it "goes against his ethics" i think the person who wins should also be a good team player and i don't think he is.

i don't get trump sometimes...he has to know about the kwame/troy alliance.....he calls ereka on it but yet says nothing to troy........and kwame!!! i really like him....but kwame is a follower not a leader.....and why is it kwame is getting all these chances but jason/kristy/jesse only got one???? kwame is riding the coattails of others along with katrina

True...Nick knows how to kiss ass, but he sure doesn't know how to kick ass (James Carville anyone? ) -and week 9 was pure luck...Like I said in an earlier post, Nick is favored by DT because he is DT's image...Or as some people put it, Junior Trump...

Well, I'm happy Troy didn't get fired. I didn't have anything against Heidi either, but I think Troy's shown me that he's better for the job. He's pretty capable of coming up with some good ideas, he's a good leader (who knows how to have some fun too), so I can see him winning this thing. Amy's another one of my favorites. With zero losses and what seems to be a sweet and leadership-like attitude, I think she's capable of pulling this competition off as well. If either of them wins, I'll be happy.

Well, unless one of them suddenly turns into an Omarosa clone all of the sudden. Then I'll just have a mental breakdown Just kidding, just kidding.

Bill seems like a nice guy and a pretty good leader, but he doesn't seem strong enough to me to win the entire thing. Nick has some good ideas and is also a fairly strong leader, but he hasn't shown me that he's as strong as Troy or Amy so far to win the whole thing. At this stage of the game it's getting hard for me to pick who I personally want to see fired. Kwame is such a nice guy and I like him, but I haven't seen him contribute enough to make me root for him for the job position. Basically, the only one right about now that I can't stand is Katrina...hope she gets kicked off next time. She doesn't seem to me to be a team player, she whines too much, and I never see her doing too much.

Troy has the kind of leadership qualities that would make an employee want to support him. He'd listen to their ideas, use their ideas, and make everyone feel comfortable no matter how the task was proceeding.

Bill is a phenomenal salesperson, but his curt style would be a real turnoff to me if I had to work for him. I wouldn't trust him - he has no heart. And you can't dismiss Katrina's feelings. Bill made her feel used and overlooked. He MADE her feel like she didn't want to work for him. I can relate to that completely with respect to Bill. He's supersmart, but icy.

The only reason Troy didn't do better in this rickshaw episode was because his team (Kwame and Heidi) had no ideas of their own - not one! Brainstorming for ideas indicates that more than one brain should be present.

    Go Troy!

Oh, I forgot to mention Nick.

Nick would annoy me. He's too puffed up with himself. On several occasions he wasn't a good follower, walked away from his task, his project manager. A leader like that, who just smiles all the time, would make you want to smack him out of his cushy office seat.

Oh my gosh, Nextlife, you said exactly what I was thinking! How come Troy is coming up with all the ideas? It seems to me that he is the often the only one with any ideas. I have noticed that week after week. It seemed that Troy was the only one on his team who secured the auction deals with the celebrities. He's the one with the water idea (storage concerns for the businesses, hence deliver weekly...that's thinking outside the box). AND, during this boardroom Troy was right in saying...Versacorp put all their eggs in one basket. Of course Troy was shot down ("but they won"), but still Troy made a valid point. The two teams only had two ideas, other than straight day fares.

    Troy McClain (Boise, ID)

Born in Anchorage Alaska, Troy, 32, spent the majority of his childhood split between both Alaska and Montana. Troy ran a health club in Spokane, WA for a couple of years, before he decided to enter the field of investing. He is currently building an insurance business and working as a mortgage lender. He is also involved in real estate development and owns 7 properties.

It's an easy assumption to fall into that if someone sounds different that they must be "from the south". South of what? In the case of Montana, Washington & Idaho, south of Canada. But in the case of Alaska, south of the North Pole?

No biggie ... just setting the record straight.

    Nice catch, getreal!

I love Alaska...And I was really surprised when I found out that Troy was from there...It made me root even more for him! But his accent is cultured from Idaho and Montana.
