He's trying to teach Joan that she's approaching Annie completely the wrong way, and that it could be her downfall. But she can't hear that.

Which I think is jsut a ruse by the producers of that show, because if you watch him judge on the Brit version, he is much nicer.

I didn't know who he was until I saw him on this show last year and I was one of the three who wanted him to win.

Piers was on point with Joan, but it went over her head. Perhaps her face has been lifted so far up it's tightened the blood flow to her brain.

i think i may actually hate them all.....

pier's "interviews" are ridiculous.

they're scripted to work up the celebrity, and that's it.

Piers was actually originally a newspaper man--a writer, then an editor then a publisher. He only got into TV as a sideline I think--on a current affairs show in the UK apparently.

Cowell made him internationally. He CHOOSE him to be on AGT, which actually first aired BEFORE the British version.
