Is anyone else creeped out by their relationship? I'm starting to think they have an extremely co-dependent relationship that is far from normal.

It's a very complicated one. Joan's husband committed suicide when Melissa was around 13 (I think) and they have been alternately very close and estranged periodically ever since.

Having been the child who was chosen to be a substitute adult in a long term family crisis I have some sympathy for this kind of close/complicated relationship between a parent and child.

That doesn't excuse bad behavior of course.

Joan, Melissa and Annie are all on the ego train...woo woo...anybody else wanna hop on?? That whole argument was ridiculous! It's a frickin' reality TV show where you're competing for money FOR CHARITY people! Do you honestly think Joan's charitable organization really feels like she's a good representative for them now? Yikes. BTW--I didn't see the first Celebrity Apprentice and Piers is AWESOME! Very, very astute.

the next task, which will probably begin in about 20 minutes is the teams (which will undoubtedly have to be reshuffled, unless the donald fires one from both) is to build a frozen meal for schwann's...this task also bleeds into next week.
