At the very least the material easily found on Google shows it definitely IS an MLM (multi-level marketing). Which translates to "barely legal Pyramid scheme". Other Google phrases to try: "ACN MLM" and "ACN Pyramid". But even before that search it seemed likely. If you recorded the Apprentice, go back and listen to the language in the ACN commerical--it had several key phrases used by all MLMs. They DO deliver an actual product. So in that sense they aren't the WORST MLM offenders out there, and so yes... legally they aren't a Pyramid scheme, of the illegal and actionable variety. But their business plan is based just as much, or more, on selling "marketing packages" (with lots of hidden costs) to people to resell their product as it is actual sales of the product.

Re: 3/22 Discussion thread ****SPOILERS**** I enjoyed the men's presentation. It was not supposed to be anything more than a corporate pep rally and the men got that. The women seemed to be trying to sell it to the audience, the audience didn't need that. I loved Claudia's comments to Melissa that was marvelous. Finally someone has the balls to tell these Botoxed Cougars they look like clowns! ![]()

Re: 3/22 Discussion thread ****SPOILERS**** I like Melissa Rivers. I like Joan Rivers. Melissa is far too young for plastic surgery and Joan should have dropped it many procedures ago, but I like them. I love their sarcasm, humor, drive, and tenacity. When Joan's husband/Melissa's father died, they really only had each other to fall back on. It seems to me they support each other in everything they do - which is how it should be. I love that. As Joan would say, I think they are "terrific"! Although, I would like to see them both put an ixnay on the plastic surgery.

Re: 3/22 Discussion thread ****SPOILERS**** I'm glad that they nailed the whole "I don't like this person, so she should be fired" thing this week. IT's been an issue many many othe weeks as well, but I"m glad they finally picked up on it. Whether or not Melissa exaggerated her producing credentials she still was the best equipped of the women's team to make something happen. And given that Claudia is on the show because she looks pretty and opens a brief case with a number on it on a show which is on the same network as Celebrity Apprentice, I'm not really sure she's in a good position to be questioning the experience of ANYONE.

Re: 3/22 Discussion thread ****SPOILERS**** I think the three women in the board room were well chosen. Claudia, because she was the PM. Klhoe (spelling), because she took no initative. Melissa, because she created the vignettes that even Trump described as cheesey. Their presentation would have been just fine, if they vignettes weren't so terrible. Melissa Rivers claimed her 15 years experience and Claudia gave her that project to complete. She expected great results, because of the incredible amount of experience (actual or not) that Melissa claimed to have. Since the presentation was terrible, and the vignettes were the reason, the person responsible for creating them should have been responsible for the presentation's failure. I think Melissa should have been fired, because she is disruptive, disrespectful, and proven to be talentless.

Re: 3/22 Discussion thread ****SPOILERS**** I do not think Melissa is talentless at all. Quite frankly her mother and her have no looks at all, and in Hollywood that can get many doors shut in your face. However, Joan is very successful in her career, and Melissa is not just sitting back living off of her mother's money she used her mother's power surely, but you can say that about the Trump children as well. However, she is working and making a living, and if she was absolutely no good, she would not be there. I think Joan and Melissa are harder and more in your face because they have to be. Claudia has had several doors open to her based soley on her looks. She has not needed to be mouthy or obnoxious. We all work with what we are given whether it is looks, connections, sports ability, singing, etc. Melissa was born to a star, and yes she may have gotten some breaks because of it, but she is not just sitting around collecting free money because of it. I love Jesse. Whether what he did could be done by all or not he is a wise man. I can truly see what Sandra sees in him. When they got rid of the excess baggage, the guys team is finely catching their groove. Dennis is absolutely ridiculous and he needs to go. Once it gets down to Joan, Melissa, Anne, Jesse, Brian, Brandie, and perhaps Herschel the show will than get good. There is a lot of useless bodies yet on this show.
