I love how the heroes and villains are kind of topsy turvy from some of our expectations.

Tom is smart but oppressed. But goes off on tangents.
Melissa is a credit grabbing selfish bitch. (okay, I personally expected that, but I bet most people didn't)
Hershel is a blockhead, who waves his finger and lectures a lot.
Clint is a loudmouth yahoo.
Brande is... gasp... smart.
Claudia is... entertainingly sarcastic.

Rodman is EXACTLY as expected though--wild and irrelevant.
Scott is exactly as expected--TOO nice.

Jesse is kind of cool though.
